    Ascending and descending lines mixed together, been around in blues for 100 years. Good sounding Danocaster Jack.

    That was terrific. I've seen it explained by others, but it's usually just, "Do this, then this and then this," but haven't had anybody explain the intervals and the movements. WHY we're doing this, then this and then this.
    Plus that making chords out of the notes thing has me all kinds of inspired!
    Thanks, Jack Ruch! 🤘🎸

      I'm the opposite. The 'why" is obvious. It's a blues turnaround. You need someone to explain a blues turnaround to you? This video, for me, could have been done perfectly with not one word being said. Just show us. That said, this is a fine video.

    Im search for a intro/turnaround I can't figure out 100% and don't find it anywhere. Who knows this? It's the beginning of the song Good Thinking Bad Man from Status Quo. I know the song alright and have the TAB, but not the intro.

    Hi Jack , thanks for this nice vid. I think the last chord after the Ab 7 chord ( the G- 7 ) having the root on top would actually suggests a G 7 sus4 chord , which would not sound quite as correct as it would suggest this chord to be a C/G chord .. shortly after this i would indeed play the G7 ..

    Where can I find the taps from Blues Turnarounds in 3 Levels?

  • @giabgr
    @giabgr 11 месяцев назад

    Your chordal turnaround ends on G chord, but call me crazy - how about a C chord? It would still contain the same notes that are in the simpler counterpoint turnaround. There could still be a quick G7 chord afterwards.
