    In terms of other Al Pacino movies for the "to be watched" list, I would also recommend: The Godfather trilogy, Scarface, Carlito's Way, Donnie Brasco, The Devil's Advocate, Heat, and Serpico.

It's a great film that teaches the valuable lesson that we all have something to be thankful for. It's my favourite performance from Pacino, given his long list of stellar roles.     "the day you stop looking is the day you die." Very poignant statement by the colonel that many viewers miss. It is him speaking about himself and how he feels.

    When Pacino accepted the Oscar for this, he included in his speech really glowing things about his costar Chris O'Donnell....it really was touching and so heartfelt. I especially remember that.

    Another movie that hasn't been mentioned (to my knowledge) is Dog Day Afternoon. Great movie. Also . . . Pacino hated the script and didn't want to do the movie, but his agent insisted, telling him that he felt really strongly about it. And, as it turned out, it was the FIRST movie that he ever made to win him an Oscar. Great reaction!!! Love you two!

    When filming “The Godfather” Pacino actually couldn’t dance, speak Italian, or drive. That makes the Waltz scene even better.

    You've gotta watch him in "Heat." One of the best heist/cop movies ever made. Robert De Niro, Val Kilmer, Tom Sizemore. Great cast.

    My favorite Al Pacino movie is "And Justice For All". "Scarecrow" with Gene Hackman is also an early favorite. Btw...I shared an elevator with Pacino in the late 90's. He was a client for the CPA firm I worked for in NYC.

    I love this movie. Al Pacino and Chris O'Donnel were amazing. And I absolutely love when Pacino tangoes with Gabrielle Anwar. I know it is her only scene in the movie, but it is one of my favorite performances from her. I have seen Al Pacino in a lot of great movies. The Godfather films, Serpico, Dog Day Afternoon, And Justice For All, Scarface, Heat(which is an amazing movie) and Frankie and Johnny, just to name a few.

    Maplenuts, my favorite Pacino film is Insomnia, co-starring Robin Williams as a serial killer. Directed by Christopher Nolan. Grade a thriller.

    The "flamethrower" speech is one of my favorites from a movie, however -
    It still doesn't beat either of these speeches from the movie "Henry V" (1989).
    1. St. Crispin's Day speech.
    2. Armored Ultimatum (Duke Thomas Beaufort's Message).

    I remember watching this on a special for Al Pacino on AMC. The channel was celebrating his movies. So I watched like 10 movies of his throughout the weekend. And this was the last movie. And honestly this one actually made me tear up. I was like 17 when I 1st watched it. To this day, it’s one of my favorites. Top 20 movies for me

    The guy you keep calling "Dusty" from Twister is actor Philip S. Hoffman. He was one of the best actors of the late 90's and the 2000's. He won the Academy Award for Best Actor for the film Capote in 2005. Sadly he died in 2014 from a drug overdose, he was only 46.

    That pistol is a 45 ACP 1911. The guy who invented that was an absolute genius. Those who've disassembled them and see how it all fits together and how it works know this, it was groundbreaking for its era.

    Such a good movie, and one of the best acting performances I've ever seen! (He *did* win the award for it, deservingly so!)
    Everything about this movie was so good, acting, writing, the dialogues, both the comedy and the drama, the score, all of it!
    Other Pacino movies? The list would e long, but Carlito's way and The Heat will always be my favorites, even above his 'bigger titles' like Godfather.

    1:50 Dude, what you had to say was pretty simple, "I think the guy on the bottom right is Philip Seymour Hoffman, a very famous actor and one of the best American actors, who regrettably passed away ten years ago". See? It wasn't hard, and it was much less tragic than "Dusty in Twister". :D

    The Tango scene is fantastic. Short but so romantic. The line about her beatiful laugh helped me land my current girlfriend. ❤❤❤. And Donna and Charlie were made for each other......

      Arnold Schwarzenegger has said that when he watched this movie and saw Al Pacino do the tango scene, it inspired him to include a tango scene of his own in his next movie. Arnold kept his word. True Lies was his next film, where Arnold shows off his own moves.

    Knowing Phillip Seymour Hoffman only as "Dusty in Twister" is one of the best things I've ever heard. Suggestions: Magnolia, Almost Famous, Capote, Doubt, The Ides of March, Moneyball, The Master, and The Hunger Games "trilogy"

    Canadian it all makes sense now. I would say that Scarface and The GoodFather are easily some of his most well-known works but Heat is a great move

    To me nothing like Pacino as far acting, he is the God of actors, I think nobody even comes close what Pacino does, I am just reading his newly published autobiography "Sonny boy", amazing, what a life he had and after all that difficulties became the greatest actor of all time to me................

    The funny thing about Chris O’Donnell and the woman, Al tangos with, They are both in the Disney Three Musketeers movie. He plays D’Artian, a young upstart trying to join the Musketeers. The woman plays the Queen of France and Julie Delphy plays Constance, D’Artian love interest.

    Carlito's Way (1993) is an underrated masterpiece imo. I'm not a fan of gangster movies, fell asleep watching Goodfellas a number of times, never got beyond half way. The only two gangster films I do love both star Al Pacino - The Godfather (1972) and Carlito's Way (1993).

    Al Pacino in God mode. But also credit to the script writers for a brilliant story. I agree with the other recommendations for other Pacino movies but would recommend Heat the most basically because every other actor in that movie is at their A game too.

    There so many Pacino movies to choose from, I suggest Heat, with Pacino, Val Kilmer and Robert Deniro. It has one of the greatest scenes ever put on screen.
