@@ILoveBluePeople If you’re referring to the Bacho clip where he gets his first win in the MX-5’s, its mainly because he is legally blind. I’ve chatted with him a bit in Jimmy Broadbent’s streams before (when he did radio Bacho during the night part of 24h races) and his vision is very limited and only getting worse. Meanwhile he’s still out there racing and the fact that he got a win is pretty insane, I can totally understand why he would be so emotional about it. Seems like a great dude.

It all depends on your skill level. In the Miata series you get put into multiple splits because of the volume of racers. Racing a series with low population will equate to harder racers cause the field isn't as level on skills. Props to summit for the win but this series isn't hard when you first start off.

it's funny cus some of us already been telling him he would enjoy some simracing with a steeringwheel but he never seemed that interested
@@inviqt4011 exactly. I would think so too. Hes hella into games and into cars. Put those 2 together and you get simracing :) i think he will rly enjoy it and the sim and iracing community will really appreciate and accept him. Summit is a great dude and is always respectful to any community he becomes apart of. Cant wait to see him get better and improve over time.

I have hundreds of hours in iRacing. I agree that it's pretty fun playing the same track multiple times over a single week when you are new but it gets boring and feels like a chore over time as with all things. It slowly becomes a weekend hobby thing for most people. Hope summit sticks around whatever happens even if it becomes a weekend thing. He really has been having trouble enjoying games lately and this one just surprisingly clicked.
Ive been simracing for a long time. Even from a online competitive gaming perspective there is nothing quite like it. I believe allot of competitive minded gamers would really like it if they tried but having to get the required gear and the somewhat steep learning curve may hold them back. Anyhow simracing has been growing allot and has been getting more popular last couple of years so thats great.
I’m so happy he listened to he chat and community watching him race GTAV and pushing him to try this and him always saying no no no….I don’t think I’ve seen him so happy in a long time now.

I logged into iRacing last night and saw a tweet about you streaming. Great to see you getting into the sim racing world. Great effort! Need to give the Street Stock rookie series a go. I watch sports car and F1 racing irl but I love the oval racing so much on iRacing. Gets the heart pumping for sure.

His progression from GTAV to Project Cars 3 (the worst in the series btw) to iRacing has been impressive. He’s gone from out of control and not understanding why to winning races!

I just started iRacing. Still in the rookie class looking for clean races and to adjust on the fly to avoid any collision. Racing is about the decisions you make on the fly. "Do I potentially kill this person with a tiny bump?" If you have crazy racers in your heat or whatever, give them the right away. They'll eventually show themselves out of the race. It's just awareness.
Congrats man. I just won my first race in iRacing yesterday. It took me 2 months in iRacing but I have been seriously sim racing for 2 years. The feeling is hard to describe. You just feel that all of that effort paid off.

You should be on the gaas in corners, steady gas so you have more grip and can go faster, if you let off the weight shifts forward

I see so much potential here. On the second race, with how much speed he carries through the first corner compared to everyone else, you can see how he understands the concepts of racing. Just need to keep on grinding.

Im not used to seeing Okayama without its drift layout. Once I realized it was Okayama I was kind of stunned. It was never in any Gran Turismo games, ever. I only know about it because of Formula Drift Japan
Hopefully this makes the awareness for simracing way bigger and iRacing might give us some juicy new content.

Awesome job SIM Racing is tough to get good at. Asseto Corsa Competition is a good one to try out the physics are amazing.
Summit should work with jimmy broadbent think they would get on well and jimmy has lots of iracing experience.

He uses a Logitech G920/G923 (pretty much identical), it's as entry level as it gets.
Can't wait till he enters GT3 and see how many tiny details there are that make big differences in your times.
