Yours is the only video that explains everything in terms of whether the signal is coming OUT of the unit or going INTO the unit. This is such a basic concept when it comes to explaining what you must do. Yours is the only one that gives that concept the correct emphasis.
There was an HDMI connection on the back of your receiver in video, and even in 2008 we were using them. HDMI is much better than composite...However, I don't remember if many tv's had it in 2008.
@danielstoops25 no you couldnt watch a dvd on your ipod doesnt work that way but yes if you have the specail wires that let you hook up your ipod to the tv then you can watch your ipod on your tv set if you got some videos on your ipod.
Why, you're just great! I learned a lot in a few short minutes. Thanks so much! Bubba's Mom
So well explained, Thank you so much.
@bhoussock yeah i actully got the wires that hook up from my ipod to the tv set so i can watch my videos i put on my ipod on my tv screen you can actully get either componet ones or composite for your ipod depending on what type of tv set you got and the connection on it.
My panasonic has all of the optioned outputs thank goodness
my Samsung TV doesn't have a hook up for cable so I bought a RF modulator how to hook it up
Where do the red and white audio cables go I've got the red white and yellow ones as well as the blue red and green ones
@cobh8crew2009 Yes it is. Anything digitally sourced by nature has a better outcome that an analog moved picture. To move the image as analog, you are literally pushing the electricity down some copper wires and try to get the best... With Digital, any interference in the picture won't cause as great a problem. It the TV can still see that for example in one frame there is 01010, it can still make up the full quality picture, even though there is interference there.
@xXRenaxChanXx doesnt make sense cause those wires arent digital but if you got s-video then the picture on your tv would be a bit better and yet agaion if you have composite or hdmi then even better.
watching tv on s-video right now
lol I have a 19in CRT and the only input is RF (or as some call it coax)
but shockingly the picture quality is fucking amazing. :3
I thought it would look ugly but I've been playing KH 2 on it and it has shocked the fawk out of me.
What about the digital coax output? Are the 3 component cables better?
what if i have an apple TV, how do i connect to my DVD and TV ?
@4headreviews yeah u r right
Use your vcr VHS videorecorders and blank VHS tapes to get even with the news media and tell your friends to just use their vcr videorecorders !
God help us all.
Ah yes, a typical rear panel of a DVD player in 2008: a choice of HDMI, component, S-video or composite. It's depressing to see a rear panel of a DVD player from 2016 or even a few years ago. Nowadays you'll only have a choice of composite or HDMI. Hell, I have a Panasonic Blu-ray recorder that I bought two years ago, it only outputs HDMI and only has one composite input. I have three older Panasonic recorders from around 2000 to 2008, they all have at least two composite inputs with S-video. One of them even has two SCART inputs!
Why most DVD don't have Rf cable
Help me please! My 5.1 Home Theatre has no HDMI or Toslink connection. Auxiliary and DVD inputs only available. RCA cables given for connections. My HDTV and setup box having HDMI connections. I have connected to auxiliary input from setup box and could hear only 2.1 audio. Please suggest me how to get 5.1 audio from my Home theatre. Thanks 🙏
Please help I don't have a cord like that. I have two cords one has a red & white on both ends & the other has red & black on both ends can I use these to hook the two together. We did have the right ones but somehow they were stolen when moving.
He forgot to mention the SCART connection, which is the most complete of them all but I guess only the EU spec equipments have that connection.
@niceguy01 mhmm has no way to use a remote (even though it was from the 90's) an there's no way to ajust it from the tv it self either way. o.e
ha a 27inch that happen to but it ha a menu I use to fix it by turning settings this an that way (not ranom just till it look right an wasn't all nasty blurry)
would love your help; my flat screen is connected to my old (12 year) pioneer elite. then sound goes to my speakers. perfect sound!. my receiver has NO hdmi. my blue ray does. new dvd's picture - perfect, audio horrible. can you tell me what plug to get to go from blue rau(hdmi) to receiver?
thank many times
super video
since rgb combined together becomes white, then why dit they had also added a luminance signal to it? wich is just white light.
since component sends red, blue and white saperately, how is color green made?
also i have a sony blue ray play with hdmi out,but when i pop in my recorded dvd, they don't look and sound better, nor worse.
I got a plasma so it would look beta witha component or HDMI
Nah, the DVD Picture through HDMI is only upscaled, it is not the higher resolution that Blu-Ray is. DVD also does not contain the higher fidelity, that Blu-Ray does. If you actually want HD on disc, don't waste you money and get Blu-Ray. But yeah, if ya couldnt care less then go for dvd!
believe it or not, but when i connect my dvdset to whatever hdtv,no matter what cable i use i don,t see anny difference.
so there,s no true upscaler inside!!!!!!!!!!
Hi thanks for the video , would you please E-mail me how can i connect my dvd to the vcr then to tv as i want to convert my dvd to vhs tape as i hope you replay me sir . thank you
you have a MANCAVE?
subwoofer connection how
Can you put yellow cord into green socket?
no, cause it'll not work anyway, the yellow cord is for composite video, while the green socket is for component video
@xXRenaxChanXx ah ok thats messed up
hey besthome: if i use an hdmi to conponent convertor in order to play my xbox-360 on my tv, will it degrade the graphic quality?
I would just buy the official component cables. Honestly component and vga aren’t that much worse than hdmi and sometimes have better aspects to them than hdmi
@@sonicshoes9299 sadly, i failed to send the signal and ended up just changing the tv altogether. also i just wanted to play one game on the 360; and now i never us it. just my gaming pc.
@@beeto45 nice bro
Thank you
I'm sorry but I'm the kind of person that needs see the connections more then explaining.
u forgot HDMI
Bast
Esplication en français
Hey, HDMI anyone? Its much better than Component!
@niceguy01 I know but it still look good I no longer have it, the picture tube fucking shot in it. :(
It has no menu so the screen is stuck on factory bullshit an ish was fuck it was stuck at full brightness -3 contrast an obviously max sharpness. :x
Threw it away.
forgetting the piece of shit exists. lol
Use the super fine pitch sony tv lineup
plasma FAILZ!
You talk too much.
