how to do manual tracking
How do we do a simple corner pinning for text bubbles (like seen in comic books) during a drone shot. For example if my drone if flying over a region and i want a text bubble to appear on a national monument ? As if the text banner is attached to the structure and then (this is most important) if the tracked monument passes out of the frame, instantly the residual bubble which is still partially on the screen shouldn't go wonky or do something strange.
AWESOME!!..thanks. A question: In Build 421 another option of tracking direction either forward or backward or both has been added. Do you know what the purpose is for that option ?
it does a tiny amount of the keyframes but not all of them. Then one time i got this error "vegas 17 an error occured during the current operation. an argument was out of its legal range" Any fixes?
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I do the exact thing you do in the video but my mask always ends up in the wrong place after I use DustVoice's script and it doesn't zoom out properly when I click away.
I had issues with the script on my PC but not on my laptop. For some reason it just wouldn't work. DustVoice said to contact him and he'll try and make sure it works for everyone

It says to me, that theres no selected event with the "VEGAS Bezier Masking" plugin
It also said that to me on my laptop but not on my desktop. You'll have to email the developer and ask if he can fix it.

How do I add the script to Vegas? Do you need any special program or is it a matter of copy it from the net and paste it somewhere in Vegas?
Wherever you installed VEGAS, there's a 'Script Menu' folder.
The default location is this: C:\Program Files\VEGAS\VEGAS Pro 17.0\Script Menu
@@ScrapyardFilms Yeah I see that, so how do you get the script from the web page into it? is it a simple copy and paste the text into the folder. Sorry this feels very odd to me, I get nervous playing with this kind of stuff but I know I need this, will save using after effects and looks much faster when working. Maybe a tutorial on how to add the script to vegas is needed.
@@PokeysMechanical you have to unzip the script download first, and then copy the .cs files over to the Script Menu folder for Vegas 17.

In my VEGAS PRO 18 there is no "Start" button in the FX used. Ever. Period.
EDIT: I just realized there's no need for it now (it seems..)
It will automatically complete your first few keyframes.

how did you saved the script? i saved it on the script folder and it's not working
All you should need to do is copy the 3 scripts into the VEGAS installation directory. By default it's located here: C:\Program Files\VEGAS\VEGAS Pro 17.0\Script Menu
@@ScrapyardFilms will check which folder i put it on, still shows up in the scripts menu but i gives me an error
Ah. This is a custom written 3rd party script so it's a miracle if it works flawlessly. I have it on two computers and it only works properly on 1 of them. Your best bet is contacting DustVoice and seeing if he can pinpoint the issue
@@ScrapyardFilms I had to "Rescan Script Menu Folder" in order to see them. Tools>Scripting>Rescan Scrip Menu Folder.

Yep. That happened with me as well on my laptop. Worked perfectly with my desktop but I have no idea why it wouldn't work on my laptop.

Hi. Do you know my V15 renders same clips faster then V17? I have core i5 with 32GBRam and GeForce 660 GTX with 3Gig ram. It's weird but I dodo tests that are especially visible when using Magix mp4 codec. All settings are the same. Thanks for any suggestions.
