Oh very nice another tutorial of PM1's video about Emblem Lyn Emblem effect, i actually gave my Emblem effect onto Legendary Fire Hinoka she's nice with a Deadeye but couldn't trigger a AOE which i think it's fair that AOE's really don't have a actual animation screen, by the way thank you for the whose best uses, i really appreciate it, PM1. :)
Thank you for the builds!! Surprisingly I haven't found units using her emblem effect that much difficult, if anything I still found E! Celica's ring effect to the one which caused me more trouble. Granted, this is coming from someone who started running Far save on Marni just some weeks before E! Lyn was introduced. Still, I ended up getting tempted today and spent the 30 ish orbs i had to try my luck. Didn't got E! Lyn, but B! Alfonse was nice. Guess she knew I might've been underestimating her emblem effect so that was her way of taking revenge haha

Insane Emblem value and the Style mechanic opens a lot of opportunities for the next Emblem units. Style Change of E!Eirika and E!Ephraim? Style Summoning of E!Veronica? So far E!Lyn has been killing it in my Astra team with W!Cordelia. Alongside Re!Marianne with her ring, they are just sniping units left and right. And Nergal and Re!Leila has been really helpful in the light season so far. I really have a feeling that Sombron is going to drop some Mila-esque effect where the Style cooldown increases to nerf this powerful effect or even negate the Emblem effects for a turn or two.
@baxterbruce9827 I guess he can turn off the Emblem's effect for a set amount of turn. Turning them off for the entire match is a bit too much imo but hey, I'm not the one that released Elimine in her prime lol

Probably sounds like too much, it feels like too much, but that's powercreep) and is a debuff with a low cleanse priority (So Freyr can keep it off because he removes everything, but something like Michiah might not with her limited removal)

Fixed Canto still works. Like, if unit has a Canto 1 or Canto 2 still works. Or if unit has "Canto Rem. min 1", the. It will always be 1. But if the unit has "Canto Rem", then it will be treated as zero.
I don´t know if it´s a glitch or if didn´t understood the wording properly, but both my E!Lyn and S!Lyn can use canto after using style so yeah it works with canto
Wait, so do special include great talent stat boosts when they trigger or not? Cuz B!Alfonse's special explicity states it includes great talent def when it triggers for some reason
If I remember Lyns great talent procs after attacking I believe cause her special is tied to the Astra Storm Style if you remove her Astra Storm special you won't be able to snipe at a distance. So sadly E Lyn is gonna be stuck with Astra Style and you can't change it without sacrificing her main gimmick.
I gave the ring to my Sonia she has her prf, blue flame, atk/res finish, special spiral 4, time pulse 4, atk/def finish 3 ss, for like 57 true damage + whatever damage gets through

Just got back into the game, my first aether raid defense formotis with far save countered lyns 6 range, and then that was pretty much the end of the round... Emblem sigurd cleaned up the rest 😂 with emblem lyn, a tank with far save/distant counter is pretty much mandatory from now on Can't decide whether to give lyns engage effect to rune or Robin, they both hit like tanks and block like tanks as well. Duo lyon/eirika is also being considered
Since I dint have bridal catria I had been using Winter Cordelia instead and it has been awhile since I used that unit in a long time. Also I have no bridal Embla so Rearmed Leila was my replacement.
Speaking of AR, really wish heroes could have multiple blessings. It’s obnoxious rearranging your defense, then resetting those blessings, then swapping a couple of carries each seasons. Even if you have enough, it’d just be a solid quality of life change

I’ve been using the lyn ring and it at least helps with some nukes if they only have the “if unit initiates” effect on their weapon as it helps counters the excel skills., and even attack spaces where the emblem celica ring can’t reach due to ocean or lava tiles. It’s versatile but also limiting. As for speedtaker I do think shamir is a good user due to the firesweep effect against most units and anyone with a rearmed/attuned weapon for the obvious but there’s no way I’m foddering emblem lyn.
Reasons why I want lady of the beach lyn in hall of forms keeps on going up shame that people voted her out now I just if to hope to find her on a friends list and hope I can get that unit in the other event.
I'm gonna make a hot take about Speedtaker (And, Great Talent in general): I think it should stay a Green Exclusive Mechanic, and moreover, that Red and Blue get something somewhat comparable to match I think color exclusive mechanics could be a good way to make the colors matter more/again, seeing as how it has become increasingly pointless the weapon triangle has gotten with how powerful and crazy minmaxed certain units and their kits can get
that sounds interesting, but I don´t see it happening, even more so with E!Roy in engage giving +5 levels to the unit that engages with him and that most likely will be translated to FEH like great talent and every unit may have access to it, even Roy could come like a red unit

Marth and Ike both used their engage skills with Divine Speed (Potent) and Laguz Friend, while the other 3 have all used their non engaged passive skills (Resonance, Momentum, and Speed taker) Roy could either have Hold Out or Rise Above as his B slot depending on which one they use, so we'll see
@@hanzou1238 I think the issue with Emblem Roy is none of his Emblem skills, Engage or Sync, quite make sense as a regular slotted skill? Unless they wanna use one of his WEAPONS and give us a Reaver skill that reverses the weapon triangle? Edit: I mean, it's really just Hold Out, which is basically Miracle, Advance, which already kinda exists under Charge status, and Rise Above, which would definitely end up with some really wonky implementation
Wish the banner hadn't decided to completely poop on me. That Brave Felix and Brave Bernadette I pulled earlier last week were the only things I got from it. It felt bad man because I really wanted to get a Momentum 4 for Petrine but no I had to spark for Lyn. 😢😢😢
12 Unit Banners are the worst with lowest chances to pull a unit you want. Only pull for the 40 summon ticket, if you are in need of a unit from the banner. I'd highly recommend not to pull there to snipe, or to get units in general for +10 merges. Wait for a 8 or 4 unit Banner, to pull them, as they come with better chances.
Magic users are still ranged units it's not like they are melee units so it kinda makes sense ...... Any ranged unit not just bows even dagger units can use it.
@@legacytag the one with victorious axe I think haven't used that one much I dint know she needs speed cause we'll almost all Edelgard has a very low speed.
The 2 turn cooldown is a bit odd in my opinion especially when you compare it to the other Emblems and their Emblem effects. They're a lot more consistent, but I suppose it would be ridiculous if it could be spammed every turn, plus you have to understand that some units and their multi actions per turns make you understand why it has a bit of a cooldown, but it's still odd in my opinion, especially since only ranged units can use it. This makes me think the ranged nuke meta is gonna go absolutely hard this year for FEH. I personally gave it to my Brave Bernie for now, but who knows what kind of ranged units we'll get over the course of this year that'll be absolutely disgusting with her.

As it stands, she as a unit is completely worthless in a meta where both Attuned Hector and W!Fomortiis not only exist, but are popular, and thrive. I'm sure there are a select few ranged units that can make use of her ring, but there's so few to mention that it isn't really even a discussion right now. It takes a LOT of support and a LOT of effort to even do half of Winter Fomortiis' health, doing that from 5 or 6 tiles away doesn't mean much. Until we get new ranged units that can completely nuke Fomortiis, she's probably the worst emblem ring. Far saves deny her as a unit, and deny whoever you'd want to give her ring to. Emblem Marth's special acceleration is universal and works on everyone, Emblem Sigurd's canto is so great you dont even need to mention it, and Emblem Celica's warping is effectively a more universal ballista that works on melees. People are seriously overrating her. She's an OKAY combat unit, but in terms of her actual ring, every single other ring has more universal, better use cases that don't get shut down simply by a single unit existing on the team. Attacking from far away was something we could already do with emblem Celica, and when we found counterplay for that, the community was fine with it. How is saying "Yeah far saves shut emblem lyn and her ring down completely" any different when she can't kill the best far saves (or in Lyn's case, even do damage to begin with.) Until we get a new unit that can outright just NUKE W!Fomortiis, by far the BEST far saver, her ring is bad. And as a unit? If she can't handle the current best far saves, she isn't going to be handling any new ones that come out that are inevitably even better. I'm assuming that people are hyping her up because she's a Lyn and people like Lyn, because saviors have been VERY prominent even now in Aether raids, so it shouldn't shock people that, yeah, she does no damage and gets shit on. It doesn't help that Emblem Sigurd is so stupid good that he's a better combat unit than her so you can't even say she's the best Emblem as a UNIT, her ring is totally outclassed by every other ring in the game that an offensive unit would run, and she as a unit doesn't serve a purpose.

Wait does Rearmed Matianne work with Lyn Ring? Her Requiem Prayer requires canto to trigger, and doesn't the ring nullify canto effects?

I used Ninja Tharja for the Lyn Ring. x4 hits from afar is nuts and her defense is paper as is.

I would debate Sigurd's for the sake of canto 1 you have. If you support her with Brave Femmale Robin, then Lyn's ring would be better then.
Yeah, I'd say so, Chloe wants to run Pegasus Rift in Slot B usually so getting Canto out of Sigurd Ring is ideal!

Just got back into the game, my first aether raid defense formotis with far save countered lyns 6 range, and then that was pretty much the end of the round...
Emblem sigurd cleaned up the rest 😂 with emblem lyn, a tank with far save/distant counter is pretty much mandatory from now on
Can't decide whether to give lyns engage effect to rune or Robin, they both hit like tanks and block like tanks as well. Duo lyon/eirika is also being considered

Since I dint have bridal catria I had been using Winter Cordelia instead and it has been awhile since I used that unit in a long time. Also I have no bridal Embla so Rearmed Leila was my replacement.
Speaking of AR, really wish heroes could have multiple blessings. It’s obnoxious rearranging your defense, then resetting those blessings, then swapping a couple of carries each seasons. Even if you have enough, it’d just be a solid quality of life change

Personally, I'd love to see ways to counter certain units. It's one thing to know how to use something new, but how can you play around it?
I’ve been using the lyn ring and it at least helps with some nukes if they only have the “if unit initiates” effect on their weapon as it helps counters the excel skills., and even attack spaces where the emblem celica ring can’t reach due to ocean or lava tiles. It’s versatile but also limiting.
As for speedtaker I do think shamir is a good user due to the firesweep effect against most units and anyone with a rearmed/attuned weapon for the obvious but there’s no way I’m foddering emblem lyn.
Reasons why I want lady of the beach lyn in hall of forms keeps on going up shame that people voted her out now I just if to hope to find her on a friends list and hope I can get that unit in the other event.

I'm gonna make a hot take about Speedtaker (And, Great Talent in general): I think it should stay a Green Exclusive Mechanic, and moreover, that Red and Blue get something somewhat comparable to match
I think color exclusive mechanics could be a good way to make the colors matter more/again, seeing as how it has become increasingly pointless the weapon triangle has gotten with how powerful and crazy minmaxed certain units and their kits can get
that sounds interesting, but I don´t see it happening, even more so with E!Roy in engage giving +5 levels to the unit that engages with him and that most likely will be translated to FEH like great talent and every unit may have access to it, even Roy could come like a red unit

Marth and Ike both used their engage skills with Divine Speed (Potent) and Laguz Friend, while the other 3 have all used their non engaged passive skills (Resonance, Momentum, and Speed taker) Roy could either have Hold Out or Rise Above as his B slot depending on which one they use, so we'll see
@@hanzou1238 I think the issue with Emblem Roy is none of his Emblem skills, Engage or Sync, quite make sense as a regular slotted skill? Unless they wanna use one of his WEAPONS and give us a Reaver skill that reverses the weapon triangle?
Edit: I mean, it's really just Hold Out, which is basically Miracle, Advance, which already kinda exists under Charge status, and Rise Above, which would definitely end up with some really wonky implementation

Wish the banner hadn't decided to completely poop on me. That Brave Felix and Brave Bernadette I pulled earlier last week were the only things I got from it. It felt bad man because I really wanted to get a Momentum 4 for Petrine but no I had to spark for Lyn. 😢😢😢
12 Unit Banners are the worst with lowest chances to pull a unit you want. Only pull for the 40 summon ticket, if you are in need of a unit from the banner. I'd highly recommend not to pull there to snipe, or to get units in general for +10 merges. Wait for a 8 or 4 unit Banner, to pull them, as they come with better chances.

The 2 turn cooldown is a bit odd in my opinion especially when you compare it to the other Emblems and their Emblem effects. They're a lot more consistent, but I suppose it would be ridiculous if it could be spammed every turn, plus you have to understand that some units and their multi actions per turns make you understand why it has a bit of a cooldown, but it's still odd in my opinion, especially since only ranged units can use it. This makes me think the ranged nuke meta is gonna go absolutely hard this year for FEH. I personally gave it to my Brave Bernie for now, but who knows what kind of ranged units we'll get over the course of this year that'll be absolutely disgusting with her.

As it stands, she as a unit is completely worthless in a meta where both Attuned Hector and W!Fomortiis not only exist, but are popular, and thrive. I'm sure there are a select few ranged units that can make use of her ring, but there's so few to mention that it isn't really even a discussion right now. It takes a LOT of support and a LOT of effort to even do half of Winter Fomortiis' health, doing that from 5 or 6 tiles away doesn't mean much. Until we get new ranged units that can completely nuke Fomortiis, she's probably the worst emblem ring. Far saves deny her as a unit, and deny whoever you'd want to give her ring to. Emblem Marth's special acceleration is universal and works on everyone, Emblem Sigurd's canto is so great you dont even need to mention it, and Emblem Celica's warping is effectively a more universal ballista that works on melees. People are seriously overrating her. She's an OKAY combat unit, but in terms of her actual ring, every single other ring has more universal, better use cases that don't get shut down simply by a single unit existing on the team. Attacking from far away was something we could already do with emblem Celica, and when we found counterplay for that, the community was fine with it. How is saying "Yeah far saves shut emblem lyn and her ring down completely" any different when she can't kill the best far saves (or in Lyn's case, even do damage to begin with.) Until we get a new unit that can outright just NUKE W!Fomortiis, by far the BEST far saver, her ring is bad. And as a unit? If she can't handle the current best far saves, she isn't going to be handling any new ones that come out that are inevitably even better. I'm assuming that people are hyping her up because she's a Lyn and people like Lyn, because saviors have been VERY prominent even now in Aether raids, so it shouldn't shock people that, yeah, she does no damage and gets shit on. It doesn't help that Emblem Sigurd is so stupid good that he's a better combat unit than her so you can't even say she's the best Emblem as a UNIT, her ring is totally outclassed by every other ring in the game that an offensive unit would run, and she as a unit doesn't serve a purpose.
