Thankyou so much for your three videos about opening cleaning and reassembling the Jura! I really liked that you explained what the parts do and the speed that you performed the steps, allowing me to follow. I feel so much happier with my coffee machine now that it is clean! It was diegusting beforehand.
The Jura ENA micro 9 espresso machine is reliable and makes good coffee. When servicing it, do yourself a favor for next time: 1) scrap with an utility knife the two locks on each side panel; this way, you won’t have to remove the top panel and insert a blade on the top and the bottom to slide the side panels, 2) do not re-install the square-head screw below the round plastic logo. Thanks for that well done and thorough video!
I had sliced in 2 insurance cards (flexible but sturdy enough) top and bottom. And it opened up after struggling 15 min. The other side popped open in 2 min using the same method. Thank you.
Very helpful! I have an easier way to open the panels. After you unlatch the back and remove the top two screws, put a block of wood against the front part of the side panel and hit it with a hammer a few times. The panel will slide back without removing the top.
Thanks for the video. I'm trying to replace the grinder burs on an ENA micro 5. I'm struggling to remove the front face (chrome) in order to remove the top and access the grinder. Do you have a video or any advise? Thanks in advance
Great instructional video!! Saved money and didn't have to wait for servicing (well I waited 2 days of Oval screw removal tool from Amazon, lol). I added your video to my favorites for the next time I have to open my Jura ENA Micro 9 One Touch again. Jura went to great lengths to make the opening up their machines difficult. Shame on Jura!
HI! Very helpful video. How can I set the grinding time at Normal and Strong option? It seems it grinds same amount of coffee in both strenghtness. Maybe the previous owner or service changed settings. thanks
Thank you for this video and excellent demonstration on how to open the side panels. I have the exact same model ENA Micro 9 and am getting code ERROR 8. I was able to remove the side panels and did a good cleaning of the coffee ground build-up inside but I still did not get it to work with the initial rinse that usually comes after powering on. I suspect that the brewer group needs repair or replacement. Do you have have a video on how to remove the brewer group in ENA Micro 9? Do you sell the guides mentioned in this video as well as the new brewer group replacement unit of the Micro 9? I am looking forward to hear from you. Thank you!
My Jura turns off after the motor in the brewgroup has moved. To the bottom. I've tried cleaning everything with compressed air, but the problem persists. I assume this is a overheating issue? Is there a quick fix for this or am i screwed?
Thanks for this video, my machine has no lock pad at the top (4:45 minutes) though it is a Ena micro 9 one touch. Would you have advice how to handle it? It has the pad at the bottom.
+Parts Guru. thanks maybe mine is a bit older, but when I made some room with the screw driver it worked. Would you also have a video how to remove the front panel? Need to that in order to free the top of the machine. Thanks again.
Hello Sam: We will put together a video for removing ENA Micro grinder as soon as we get the machine in for repairs. Please note that it's a fairly newer model so not many machines have been received for service.
2:09 The only reason why some customers use screwdriver is a genuine parts design quality issue at Jura, where at times the emblem got stuck and won’t budge to twisting by fingers. I’d made a short 30sec clip to demonstrate how a stuck emblem could be removed in seconds.
I’ve found a much easier way to open the side panels. Use a wood block and a soft hammer in the middle of the front edge of the side panel. A few soft taps moves the whole panel front to back and the whole thing slides out.
Dude you are showing how to break the machine as you open it! there's no need to remove the top front, there's no clips that you have to put your flat head in for an y "hooks" all you do is the 2 screws under water, the round logo, then remove tray, and push on the bottom part of the sides. that's it!
Delonghi is no better. There are far better super automatic machines than Delonghi, Breville, and Jura. Do you prefer super automatic or semi automatic machine? You may call us to discuss in detail.
+Parts Guru I thought at least with Delonghi you can access to internal easily and the brew unit is removable. I'm in New Zealand and for the Christmas shopping day I'm torn between maybe a Jura Micro 9 and Delonghi Authentic Plus, similar cost here in NZ. Also I might be choose a semi-automatic instead. For that maybe a Breville BES840/870 or Sunbeam EM7000. Not all the brands in US market are available in NZ. I would very appreciate your advise. I love your repair videos. Thanks.:D
Thank you for saving my Jura! A hose needed replacing inside. Scalded my dog's head finding leak but he's happy when I'm happy.
that Jura logo removal is SO HARD. You need gecko fingers. update : typing this message made mne think of rubber garden gloves. SUCCESS!
Thank you very much for sharing useful information, your video helped disassemble the device for further cleaning of the brewer

Your tip on how to open the side panels was extremely helpful for me. I was able to remove them and fix my ena micro 1. Many thanks for this video!
ruclips.net/video/sNedGBSFs04/видео.html
so much easier faster and won't scratch or hurt the plastics, there are no "hooks"
Excellent explanation for opening the machine, congrats.

Thank you for this video! It helped a lot!
Thanks! This also works for the Micro 1.
Hi, yes, ENA Micro 1 and 5 are physically identical to Micro 9.
Yes. Jura ENA Micro 1 opens up the same way!
Very useful thank you

Thanks,I was able to clean up the brew group of my micro one and use it back.
+Erwan Rouault Glad to hear it. We're here for help!

+Stijn Muller Hi, the machine demonstrated in the video is also Micro 9 One Touch

Merci pour votre vidéo et votre excellent site ;) .
Great video. Thanks!
How do you remove the grinder for service on Micro 9? The screws are not accessible. Any recommendation is appreciated

A Gorilla tightened the back “Ena” circle. Even rubber over it for grip won’t budge it .
How to check brew cycle counter in jura ena micro 90 / 9 ?
Hi Tomas, the number of coffee made is in the machine settings menu
a can't turn the piece with logo jura under the reservoir ;-( i'm sad ^^
I can't either
THX YOU A LOT !
What is the size of the small hex socket must we use to unscrew the small nut in the back ? ( at 2:40 )
It is the oval head tool. We do not know the exact dimensions. It is widely available on the internet.
@@PartsGuruUSA Would you be kind enough to send me an Amazon link so I could buy it ? I do not know what to look for. Many thanks
You can buy it from our website: shop.partsguru.com/Jura-Oval-Head-Key-Stainless-Steel-0010635.htm
@@PartsGuruUSA I am from Canada and your order form does not let me put my province ( Québec) nor the country...help!!!
Now I have to wait 3 days til the oval head key comes in the mail.
The round logo on the back will not come out...
Hi Kim, You can try to put a small piece of duct tape over it to get a firm grip for twisting it off. Please be sure to turn it counterclockwise.
Had the same problem. Duct tape helped. Thanks.
спасибо мой хороший !
Designed to be user unfriendly..

That's a evil design. I decide to by a Delonghi.

+pingshakl I mean Delonghi Autentica Plus ETAM29.620
Given you're in NZ, Delonghi would be a better choice. It's easier to maintain and repair. Replacement parts are available unlike Jura or Breville.
+Parts Guru Thanks for the valuable info.
Thanks so much, this video was extremely helpful!!
