Thanks Milen! With your instructions I was able to save my Jura ENA 5. It was having issues dispensing coffee with spillage on the side. It's all been fixed now.
Thank you very much for your clear explanation! This part doesn't belong to the standard cleaning/maintenance. We just cleaned this part and were shocked of the debrie that came out there. But, after 14 years (!) that's not strange... We still very much appreciate our Jura Ena 5! 😍
Spot on instructions Milen and cheers for posting this video, after experiencing poor coffee dispensing for the past week then today signs of coffee spilling out the side of the spout I searched the internet and found your video instructions. A quick 5 minute cover removal then hot flush and clean, the spouts are now debris free, clean and dispensing coffee 100%. Cheers.
Thank you so much! Our Ena5 was leaking from the "seams" of the dispenser and this solved the problem perfectly. Very clear instructions and you just saved us a whole lot of time and money - hopefully now the machine will last for another 10+ years :)
Thank you soooo much Milen … my coffees were slowly getting worse and I knew coffee debris was the culprit … your video helped me clean my wonderful ENA5 back to new … also when removing the dispenser, it pays to rock it forward slightly then pull up, makes it easier to remove cleanly … there is great satisfaction in DIY maintenance ❤️😃
Thanks Milen! I often cleaned my E7 and was always annoyed it never produced clean water at the end of the cleaning cycle, even after 5 or 6 times in a row. Once I followed your video instructions on cleaning the dispenser it did!. I wish Jura would design this part so the user could clean it easily as general maintenance. Thanks very much!
Thanks, Milen, just what I needed for my very old, neglected Ena5. It was disgusting inside. Used a toothbrush and multiple hot water rinses right inside the rotating part as well plus gentle use of scalpel to help remove the coffee stains from plastic bits. The holes at the bottom of the black thing were totally jammed up so I used the head of a pin to poke it out - so much solid gunk. This explains why my coffee was never hot enough, it was mixing with the old. Well done!
WOW! Super useful video! I have an old ENA 3 that we got as a gift that had stopped working for the past month. Managed to get the front off. Filled the sink with brown goop. I don't know how we managed to get a decent coffee out of the thing with all that stuff clogging the insides! Thanks a bunch!
My 12 year Old ENA 5 started to leak from the dispenser and the coffee a bit weak/lack of cream. Jura Service UK just told me it is obsolete and would give me a £150 trade in!!!!! Just followed this video and the black bit was totally full of coffee grinds. 12years worth!!! Cleaned and working perfectly again.
Thank you Milen, this was an awesome video. For anyone cleaning this part out remember to also check the silver down spouts under the black part. They can also get clogged with buildup. Finally pay attention to the two small tabs on the bottom part of the cover, if they don't get aligned into the slots at the bottom part of the machine they can bend and get in the way of installing the cover back on. I bent one because I was not paying attention and had to break it off to get the cover back on.
Lots of thanks for this video. Just cleaned the dispenser for the first time in many years!! By the way, the tool to open the cover is mounted on the back of the dispenser :-)
Milen, you are a star! thank you so much for that very clear and very helpful video. Your instructions were easy to follow and worked brilliantly. The goo that was inside the coffee dispenser was horrible and now the coffee has a lovely crema. Interestingly, as you mentioned, the machine was not working properly after not being used for over a week. Once again, many thanks. Alan
Thanks for this. There is another excellent “deep clean” video but it skips this crucial part on how to disassemble the dispenser without breaking the tabs …
You explained that the locks are on the bottom, and you showed a great tool so that you don't damage. But I don't know how exactly we use this tool, Should i push it in?? pry to the front? Pry to back? Something else? I really appreciate the video but it would have helped me if you demonstrated how to open it, instead of only demonstrating how to close it- which looks very easy. The plastic cover breaks very easy! I wish could have found a decent video on how to open before I cracked it.
The black part you unhooked from the hose looks like it is composed of two parts. Any idea how to separate them? That would help cleaning it out. i've tried without success.
peter_c have you tried to clean out what is under the black part. I found mine was clogged and I needed to clear the silver part that is under the black part. I used a plastic zip tie and pushed it up from under, rinsed, and did it over and over again to clear the two drip spouts. You can also push from above once you can see light thru the spouts. You can also rotate the spout to get better access to cleaning. Hope that helps!
@@scottpiette8977 It's been a while, but I did clean the thing out as much as I could. Most of the nasty buildup was in the black part, and I don't think that comes apart. I forget what I used, something long and thin. Probably would be best done in an ultrasonic cleaner. But the lesson is not to use really finely ground coffee (I think it was a brick of vacuum packed something).

Yes, I'd like to give that bottom part a thorough cleaning as well but have not figured out how to remove it. Has anyone managed to do this?
We cleaned the other part above the sink with some sticks made from wood and then wash it. Thank you for this video
Thanks man opening the plastic cover was a pain in the ass but it was downhill from there. Now my 15 y.o. Jura ena 7 works great again
Lots of thanks for this video. Just cleaned the dispenser for the first time in many years!! By the way, the tool to open the cover is mounted on the back of the dispenser :-)
wow, on which model is the tool mounted? I have an ENA 7 and have no tool mounted
