Bald eagles Jackie and Shadow 🦅🦅❤️ Jackie tries to persuade Shadow to stop incubating the eggs. She brings stick gifts to the nest to convince him. It is especially hard to persuade Shadow before the night shift as he keeps sneaking back into the nest. Will Jackie be able to convince Shadow to let go?
You'll see how Shadow chooses the best stick in a tree and takes it to the nest and how many stick gifts Jackie brings to the nest, some of them are impressive. At the end, Jackie & Shadow play with stick. Even FIONA pays Shadow a visit.🦅🦅🥰

IMO the motherly instinct of Jackie tell her ,that her babies wont hatch, but convincincing daddy shadow is another story. Good luck Jackie convincing him . God bless these beautiful criatures of Gods creation .Its so sad all they went through for these aegies ❤

My heart goes out to shadow. It’s his instinct to protect his eggs. Looking at shadow makes me wonder if birds grieve. I think animals do have deep feelings.
On an another note do Jackie & Shadow come back to the same nest year after year?
@peekaboo7424- I believe all living things have the capacity to feel!! I agree. I am not the expert but it’s my understanding they come back to this nest every year. We can also look for them during the summer on camera two perching on favorite trees!! To Jackie and Shafow forever! 🦅❤️🦅❤️

@BirdlifeOdyssey I looked on the live video and to me I enlarged it and it looked like there was a body in it but I couldn't really tell. Shadow left the nest at 11 this morning and no one has returned.

@@kathrynnard8059 I looked at it too but it was hard to say what was inside. I will miss them too. I will make a video from the whole season so that we could watch the best moments until they come back in October to begin renovation works of this nest. They will be in the area all year round and we will be able to see them from time to time thanks to Cam2. Thank you for your comments! ❤❤❤❤🦅🦅

@@kathrynnard8059 Bringing twigs, fluff and mating are all parts of their bonding ritual. They strengthen their bond all year round. ❤❤❤❤

Its a bad place for anest its the tallest bald eagle nest in america,145 feet high
Go on Shadow. It's OK. Listen to Jackie. You both must go. I know I am talking to birds that cannot hear me, but Jackie needs to lay her new eggs. He has to give up. So painfull. I worry that until those eggs go-she won't lay new ones. Heartbreaking. But, I am going to look forward to the new brood. Is it possible they will build a new nest? Does anyone know? She won't lay eggs with these 3 and may disturb her cycle. She's a wise girl.

@catmansma Jackie is fertile from January to March so it is unlikely to lay eggs now. They use only this nest and will come back here in October to start renovation works and prepare it for the next season.
What will eventually happen to the eggs
@bbudacious The eggs can become part of the nest or can be eaten by other birds such as ravens or woodpeckers. One of the eggs broke this morning. There are two more left.
