I have had the dubious pleasure of working on the Crown ESR 1040-16 OPT 3 for a month now. Pros: -New armrest design gives more customisation options -Very strong brakes Minuses: - The Reachtruck is equipped with a much narrower drive wheel than the previous model, and this is the biggest drawback of this machine. Narrower wheel = less grip. The slightest movement of the steering wheel causes a loss of grip and the moment the wheel regains it, the vehicle jerks violently. The higher the speed, the more it jerks. As a result, when making a quick 90° turn, the jerking when grip is regained makes it 100°. As a result, the vehicle is not suitable for fast, smooth and precise operation. At most, you can only drive forward quickly. Fluidity and precision can be forgotten. In addition, the reachtruck does not stop when you take your foot off the accelerator, but continues to roll for several centimetres. All this makes the machine simply untrustworthy, unpleasant to work on and the constant jerking is maddening.
Now that's a machine id like to drive!
We have 5 Crown ESR 5200 with the gena touchscreen and we have a Crown ESR 1000 without the gena touchscreen which I drive. I love to drive it
