- On this episode we cover the Orlando Speed World Sport Compact World Challenge. We met up with Nikki Hepburn and the Boosted 86 Racing team, they came all the way from Australia to Orlando, FL to show the USA what they are all about. They came out swinging running a personal best and further securing their standing as the worlds quickest and fastest import car on drag radials. I thought the most common engine there (barra) was a 4 liter. Does that need to be destroked too then or is it like 3998cc from factory?
@@NFSGamerful Barra is factory 4.0L (3984cc) and is as common here as a modular motor is in the US. 👍 Depending on year/model, you can spend as little as $50 ('03-'05 N/A) or as much as $5K ('16-'17 Turbo).
The 1FZ originally is a 4.5L petrol motor that is normally found in 100 series landcruisers. 👍

It's actually quite common here in Australia in the upper categories due to price these days. 2JZ's cost your right testicle, an arm, your soul and your first born kid, and that's before you put the minimum $50K into it to make 2000hp. 1FZs can be had for a couple of grand. The Saudis do pretty well with them in sand drags as well. 👍

it doesn't count as an 86 if it's running a LandCruiser v8, a true 86 will never be this quick, Id like to see the full potential of a real 86, not another swap

The only car i know of that's an import that's import powered and on radials is white rice and maybe the new copper Titan Supra. Those are the only ones coming close to this car.
And ekanoo is not the fastest import anymore. Zoian is 5.6 i believe.
Now if you just want import bodied, pharris motorsports has the Lexus from ekanoo that's on radials. But it's Proline 481x powered.
No Isaiahas Rojas does went 5.67 or so.etjong at WCF it's and import rotary powered I believe

nikki seems like an amazing person and the 86 is super sick but its not the fastest 86 nor fastest import.
There is a 2jz camry that holds the world record with a 5.74. and ekanoo laid down a 5 sec pass with thier 2jz gt86.
Fastest import on drag radials was the title and it is .... Also the fastest imports is a 5.6@255mph by the zoian team

dm4n this isnt a 2jz and 2jz couldnt hang with a 1fz you realize the 1fz-fe has more stroke and displacement than an 2j . 2j is only a 3.0 liter this is a 4.2 liter thats been destroked to a 4.0 liter lot more potential than a 2jz
