I use short stubby screw drivers when tightening those screws, it easier to get a feel for how tight you are getting them and also you will have less of a tendency to slip out of the straight head or phillips head screws that it is assembled with

@@primarchxi6639 I have used soap and water for YEARS. Answering about the spray gasket tack he used. I have also submerged in water to look for bubbles. Another trick to seal a gasket is to soak in fuel. Not sure because it could dry and shrunk. Just answering about what he sprayed out of the aerosol can. You answered correctly about finding the leak.

Never thought a carb could be a air leak... so could a carb air leak make a saw change RPM when flipped side to side etc?

Name? Its just soap m8. Also, you can just sunk it in water and see where the leak is.
