To this day skyrim is still an insane game. One of the best games ever made, not to mention that it still looks better than many new AAA titles with some ENB mod tweaks.
I think I'm inclined to agree I mean there are numerous things that I certainly think fallout 4 does better like companions, combat and other things. But I suppose what really tips it over for me is how skyrim really did a good job creating this large immersive living world while fallout 4 focused too much of its world design efforts on establishing the settlement system. That said if they could make sequel to the elder scrolls or fallout that combines the good aspects of skyrim and fallout 4 then that would be great.

That wasn't a reveal, this was just to assure the fans, that they are working on it, because fans have been spamming them literally everywhere. I guess we will get the reveal trailer in 2023 and the official gameplay trailer at E3 2024 and official release at the end of 2024.

The grognards panned Morrowind on released ("it's shallow and not as good as BG2/Planescape: Torment/Fallout 1+2"), Fallout 3 got lots of flak for obvious reasons when it was released. So did Oblivion (bland minigames, ugly characters, bad level scaling, and of course: HORSE ARMOR!!!1). Skyrim is still considered as a dumbed down Elder Scrolls title and the haters, especially the fans of your precious Witcher 3 pan every aspect of it, and Fallout 4 is of course no exception. You may not like it, it far from perfect, but it's much more entertaining than most other games I played. I already have ~200 hours of game time with it.
