    I want to know if being placed on a vehicle will affect its spark detonation or more if it will affect the cylinder itself because it is more powerful or an anticipated detonating blow will be more affected
    Your design is very instructive thanks for your knowledge and contribution

    I have created a special condenser wire, and called them "thunder conductor", with them is such a loud and bright spark. I installed this on the car, made two runs on efficiency and acceleration. In both cases, the car drove the same way, but with the wires "thunder" despite the fact that they are shielded, part of my electronics has received a temporary failure. Conclusion-it does not work, the standard system copes with it 100%.

    Good idea but, spark plugs come in different heat ranges manufactured for typical 12vdc systems. It is possible to burn a hole in the top of the Piston with too hot of a sparkplug.

    • @Louis2282
      @Louis2282 6 лет назад +1

      in the older engines with points and condensers, the sparks were not always so good and so systems to improve spark duration did help poorly designed engines burn the fuel better, but in modern effecient engines useing unleaded petrol, electronic ignition, fuel injection all run by an ecu, i doubt there are gains to be had.

    • @Louis2282
      @Louis2282 6 лет назад +2

      this will not alter the heat range of the plug, anyway the ecu will prevent pinking which causes the holes in pistons

    • @andymarteney9820
      @andymarteney9820 6 лет назад +2

      I think gains depend on the technology of the engine. I believe the newer coil on plug stuff would beneifit way less than a 60's engine. On a ford 390 i built, stock heads, mild cam, and a relatively tight quench with a 9.6:1 compression it made the difference on breaking axles vs not. That truck was ran over 2 years unchanged with the same gear/tire combo in sled pulling competitions. I switched to a MSD style ignition and a matching high ouput coil and it snapped a axle, fixed, snapped the other side, fixed and continued to snap every time the sled hit from there out until the dana 60 was replaced with a dana 70. So it made enough difference to where the 60 rear could hold it for 15-20 pulls until i changed over to a better ignition, then it would snap.

    Om great video, how long will the capacitor last? If we add capacitor into 4 spark plugs, how do we know if one of the capacitor not working? Is there any way to check instead changing all 4?

    • @OkkiMoeljadi

      Thank you! If one of the capacitor is not working, you can see that the spark is weak or even no spark. Just connect one cable to a free sparkplug outside the engine one at a time and check out the spark intensity.

    its not only about achieving nice thick static spark not in combustion environment. In a car, especially in a modern car you must have very precise ignition timing and especially at high rpm. Everyone can optimize their spark with better plug, better wire and better coil, but only to a certain point and sometimes the output driver in the ECU cant handle all three to be optimized at the same time, not to mention going further.

    It does not really matter what you do . The problem with plugs are in the engine. The crossflows in the chamber bends the spark so corrosion and carbon build up occurs . Hence the destruction of the tip. In 1991 I created a double platinum ball tipped spark plug which is self cleaning and withstands the turbulence in the chamber. Fords buried it. I still have them, and video of them. You can see it on line under platinum ball tipped spark plugs.

    • @OkkiMoeljadi

      I agree. But the problems are not only in the engine, but also in the fuel itself. Gasoline in liquid form is a big problem for the engine. I have tried gasoline vapor on my car. What I can say is I could not smell anything from the exhaust pipe. The exhaust smell was just gone after about 30 minutes of running with only gasoline vapor. Unfortunately I could not finish my research in this system. At the moment I have other things which are more important to do. Anyway here is a video of my gasoline vapor system: ruclips.net/video/JkStHHH9wUM/видео.html

      Copper core or stainless core non resistor leads are the best. But if you need to suppress EMF to protect electronic ignitions or electronic fuel injections systems etc the best leads to use are the spiral wire ignition leads. The have a wire winding of 120 turns per inch around the carbon or silicone core & that suppresses the EMF.

    In this test you connected the capacitors directly to the spak plug. I think that if you connect the capacitors at the other end of the cable, it will have a worse spark than without the capacitors where the resistive cable is used.
    I think this for the video Resistor Vs. Non-Resistor Spark Plug, where the resistance of the spark plug is considered, which in parallel with the capacitors. In this video configuration, the resistance of the cable is not connected in parallel with the capacitors.
    Am I right with this reasoning?

  • @elgatofelix4435

    Sparks are very impressive, but spark plugs and cars are not able to take this kind of sparks. Sparks plugs fail due to electrodes erosion/melting and dielectric cracking. On the other hand, the spark is so intense, like a welder, causing the pistons to melt or pierce

      The reason your spark is brighter is because you are using the copper core wire. Basically no resistance whereas regular spark plug wires are known as resistance wires. Regular wires are resisted to keep any feedback from coming into your stereo or other electrical components in your vehicle. I honestly wouldn't use these wires on an actual vehicle as it could mess up the computers.

    Sebelumnya saya mengucapkan terimakasih atas vidionya

    EXPERIMENT CHANGING
    (real simulation)
    In your car the capacitors are connected directly to the distributor pipettes, at the start of the high voltage cable.
    Can you make a video showing on the desk the two conditions, with the capacities connected at the beginning of the carbon cable (but without any other 5kOhm resistor inside the connector pipette) and at the end directly to the spark plug?
    Thank you very much. ^_^

    • @OkkiMoeljadi
      @OkkiMoeljadi  3 года назад +1

      Any resistance between capacitor and spark gap will kill the plasma.

    • @davideb.9406
      @davideb.9406 3 года назад

      @@OkkiMoeljadi It's not so simple but you know it too.
      If the capacitor is connected to the end of the cable (near the spark plug) there will be a delay in the charging of the capacitor (for the resistance of the circuit, Tau = R*C) and therefore in the ignition of the spark, but the spark will be at maximum current.
      If the capacitor is connected to the beginning of the cable (near the HV transformer) the energy transfer from the electronic ignition control unit will be almost instantaneous (depends on the short-circuit current of the transformer) but the current in the spark plug, and therefore the avalanche effect, will be limited by the resistance of the cable.
      It would be nice to see the spark with a spark plug without internal resistance (obviously) and the capacitor connected to the beginning of a carbon cable having the overall resistance of a few hundred Ohms (without the resistance in the connecting pipette).
      It is possible to simulate the same condition with a copper cable if a 680 Ohm resistor is added in series (to simulate an average length carbon cable).
      Then show the appearance of the spark when the capacitor is connected at the beginning towards the coil or at the end towards the spark plug.
      It could be a really explanatory video to see the practical effect of the electrotechnical theory.

      @owain6207 6 лет назад +2

      Do you also believe iridium spark plugs increase horsepower haha!
      Bigger spark better combustion what a loads of rubbish
      As soon as the A/F mix is ignited its self sustaining granted you need the correct spark to start it assuming you are running a petrol I/C engine...
      Diesel doesn't even use a spark they use air to ignite the mixture at very high compression..
      I could tell you my credentials but this is the internet it makes no difference
      Think about it If spark affected power output we would see nuclear powered F1 cars dont you think.
      You may believe this becasue youve replaced shitty old plugs with new and noticed it was better but your chasing your tail with that flawed logic trust me.

    • @owain6207
      @owain6207 6 лет назад +1

      just re read you comment and noticed you were talking about combustion not power my bad.
      Combustion is only improved by the correct A/F mixture which is 14.7:1 you can only get combustion correct you cant make it better than that.
      Say you want to make more power you need more A/F mixture the most common example would be forced induction via super charger or turbo chargers.
      The most reliable method to make power is increase the size of your combustion chamber, put simply get a bigger engine or force more A/F mixture in.
      Like jordan was saying use of different fuels is another popular method to make power but running high octane fuels is only necessary for high compression situations to reduce the risk pre igniton (the A/F self igniting under compression)
      This is the core principle of engine tuning, there are other factors such as gas flow patterns and valve timings but i wont go into that.
      Sorry for the wall of text but i thought you might like to learn something instead of spreading misinformation.

    • @owain6207
      @owain6207 6 лет назад +1

      Well technically speaking liquid fuel will burn and vaporised fuel will explode but i try not to get bogged down with technical terms.
      What you are describing sounds like an over fueling issue (too much fuel for the ammount of air or a "rich" mixture) this will cause excess fuel to be pushed into the exhaust some people will tune theire engine this way for the nice popping noises as excess fuel explodes in the hot exhaust but it will create less power.
      The other end of the scale is "lean" a mixture without enough fuel for the ammount of air which will burn hotter and consume all fuel in the chamber (alot of vehicles are tuned this way to get better fuel economy and emissions) but it can damage engines that aren't designed to cope with the extra heat.
      I understand what your saying about a strong spark being good for combustion but its only effect is to ignite the mixture.
      Forgive me as im finding it hard to put it into words but when a spark fires the gas mix will explode and expand raising the pressure in the chamber which forces the piston down, this happens very quickly like you said. and the higher the RPM the less time it has to take place this is why high RPM machines have to have lower resistance primary windings in the coil packs so that there is time for a spark to be generated stored and discharged before the next cycle.
      There is alot of engineering behind it all but simply put a strong spark is good but it doesn't improve combustion, combustion is down to the fuel mixture, in real world scenarios mixture is never perfect but its a target to aim for.
      You can measure the gas coming from the exhaust to see what the mixture is like.
      If you have liquid fuel in the chamber there is a problem either with the timing of the spark, the fuel delivery system such as carburettor or fuel injection or valve timings.
      again sorry about the wall of text this is a large topic for a comment section.

    • @owain6207
      @owain6207 6 лет назад +1

      throw a match in a puddle of petrol and tell me liquid doesnt burn.
      fuel is vaporised before it enters the Chamber if you have liquid fuel in the combustion chamber you have a problem you need to adress not throw a bigger spark at it. a flooded engine occurs because your battery is weak or plugs are fouled... these are problems with an engine and are not the normal, you cant just ignore these issues and fix them with a bigger spark.
      if plasma friggen spark plugs were so amazing why dont cars come from the factory with them installed, these automotive engineers spend billions of dollars on R&D trust me if they dont use it its for a reason
