I've gotten Messi to 98 in I think the 3rd season (after the Jan transfer window). You can get any player above their shown potential, just play well with them and play them a lot.
There is a lot of 90 potential in fifa 14! Oliver torres cam for atletico Madrid, Leonardo bittencourt cam for hannover96, neilton and Victor Andrade both cf in santos. People here in brazil believe neilton is the next neymar....

in my 13 career mode hazard went to a 92 in just one season and he's still growing at a ridiculous rate.
I started with Neymar at 86 but after i used him for every game for two seasons and he is now 91 and also Mesut Ozil from 86 to 91 in two seasons
I already have Özil up to 90 by the start of the second season so there's him as well.
Shaqiri can get up to a 90, one of my favorite players
I bought Edison Cavani from psg to liverpool and he is a beast topscorer for the past 3 seasons and aged 29 he is 90 overall

There should be added a stat in the game like determination. That would be nice so old players like Totti, Zanetti etc. doesn't decrease if they are motivated enough.
In manager career mode, I was Real Madrid and I got a player from their youth squad who was a 49 defender and it said he has a potential of a 94 overall

De bruyne and Draxler both reach 91
Bruma has the potential to reach 94, that's where I got him at least, and Suarez often goes up to 92-94.
Although, that could be a glitch, I know that Bruma has a potential of 89, but can go above, and updated Suarez also has 89.

Do a guide for fast growers! I don't knew if it's a glitch but i started a chelsea career mode and Oscar went from a 82 overall to 85 overall before the first window (first season) was over! I played him in like 6 games straight in cam position. He was man of the match 3 times in a roll...

RB- Micah Richards is very good, but I’m looking towards a better one in the future.
CB’s- Sergio Ramos (Duh) and Thiago Silva (No Shit) but they got too old, so I sold them for-
Hummels (Should have started off with him) and Karim Rekik (Such a Beast, and he’s young too.)
Another good CB is Kurt Zouma who is French, he’s only 20, expect him to grow a lot.
LB- luke shaw RB- De Sciglio
LB Is Alaba no doubt.

For anyone wondering about the best players in career mode, below are some of the best ones i've used;
Alaba hardly grew for me jetro willems grew to 85 for me with incredible physicial attributes and well rounded stats, i also have joao cancelo who grows to 80+ easily 83 for me atm and he has 93 acc/sprint speed. Those are the best full backs in my opinion and u can get them both for less than 5m in the beginning.
Defenders u can get anyone but by the time my defenders got to 90+ they wanted to leave.. i had nastasic 92 marquinhos 90, and right now im using okore 85, varane 87 and zouma 88.
Midfielders- pogba 90, goretzka 89, malanda 80+, kovacic 87, draxler 89
Attackers- benzia 80+ becomes complete forward, mayuka (cheap, pacey, grows to 80+, but declines like crazy at 30), lukaku 86, batshuayi 86. Depay 92(has ridiculous stats including 98 longshots/acceleration). There are a lot more but the list would go on for ages, and many players i bought didnt grow much or were dissapointing.

I got Courtois up to a 92 and Bernd Leno is a really fast growing keeper took about 2-3 seasons to get from about 81 to about 88

I am debating whether to sell Ronaldo in my first season at Real Madrid, he hasn't decided he wants to leave yet, but has indicated that he may stay or leave when his contract expires which is the end of the second season. I hear he can get up to around 93-94 POT however I have also heard that he starts to decline. Do I sell him in the first window or do I try and play to his potential and sell him in season 2?
After the winter update Bakkali loses his 90 potential and only gets to 86. Jovetic now only gets to 87 (current overall :83). However Segio Aguero now has a potential of 90.

CF Hernandez from Seria B Palermo, AM Danny Pacheco Liverpool, GK Viviano Palermo, AT Benteke Aston Villa those players are the beast in the year 2015. First they are cheap at last I sell Hernandez to Real £50m have been bought for £5m. But Viviano didn't go to 90+ but he is a beast.

Football manager has it already so that's why I prefer that game over fifa but football manager only have career mode which isn't for anyone.
A player in football manager have 37 stats+personality (relaxed, energic etc.) ,significant strengths and weaknesses (injury prone, performs in big games, intelligent) and alos a lot of traits (long throw in's) beats offside trap, dives into tackles, plays one twos, argues with referees).
In my opinion:
Career= FM>fifa14
Overall= FM

1st season because his overall was 85 . so he was worth 47 million $ . if you buy him in second season hisoverall will be 86 or 87 then he would be worth something 58 million $ .and if you want to buy him in the 3rd season his overall would be 88 or 89 , then he would be worth around 85 million $ because he is also somewhat young at hird season maybe 25 yrs.
Yeah you got his brother Thorgan Hazard for 11 million maybe.

I did a career mode with shalke. It was weird I only got 1 player above 90 (bakali) but my whole team (13 players) was pretty much 87-89. Also the young players there, draxler ect transfer requested
Varane up to 91 so far in my career. Only 25 years old. Also Ozil got to 93. Draxler, Wilshere and Pogba all at 89 so far. I'm sure all 3 will reach 90.

In fifa 13 any player 82+ could potentially reach 90+ if you focused on them alot.
