Tielemans (88) - CM Anderlecht ----- Cheap Pogba but still really damn good.
I kind of think knowing the potential of players ruins the game abit. Would be nicer if people bought players off of stats alone!

I'm surprised Oztunali starts so low, I've seen him playing in Leverkusens first team already. Good to see Tielemans finally getting some recognition, Arsenal barca etc have been following him for a while now, seems Fifa has caught up. I was hoping to see Vilhena (Feyenoord), Munir (Barca), Mastour (AC) maybe Dembele from Fulham. but it's nice to see new players coming up, I just think there are more they could look into.

Thing is, players exceed their potential in career mode if they sign for your team. For example Balotelli is currently 94 on my save when his potential is just 90
You should do Best U23 / U 21 players , would be really helpful!
Halilovic is beast, 96 vision and 89 long pass at only 22 years of age with other fantastic stats, will definitely be a beaut in the coming years!

They have somewhat patched in player potential into paying for players. It took me a lot of offers to get the guys I wanted and I had to get Tielemans for around $19 mil and JWP for $27 mil despite how low they are priced currently.

Živkovič is half Serbian half Central American btw.. Used him in a Pompey career mode and went up to 86 from 69!

I bought Nicklas Sule purely because of his stats, but I didn't know how young he was! Currently in my career he is 21 and 82 rated! And 94 strength, beast of a player :)
Same I didn't even realise he was 20 and I got him scouted and now in 2019 and he is 85 rated beast
Too damn slow and his agility vs. the quick forwards is why he got sold!
Did ea get rid of the system where u have to scout a player to get a rough indication of the players rating,and have they gone back to the old one where u know it?

Bakkali will still probably grow to 90. Most of these players will go well beyond their potential! I thought Scuffet was a regen player lol, because I didn't sign him until 2020 in my last FIFA14 career mode!
In Fifa 14, I bought bakkali and he went up from 73 to 78 in about 6 seasons, in the same time period viktor fischer went from 75 to 89, so there is absolutely no chance that bakkali was the best player in career mode for growth last year. (For those interested, fischer peaked at 95 and stayed there for 3/4 seasons)

Fifa are always a year behind Football Manager in finding these players out, they obviously just look at their database to find the best youngsters.

Bilal Ould-Chikh is indeed not a Dutch name. He's is born in Holland. But his parents are from Marroco. Just like Afellay. So that's why he hasn't got a Dutch name.

Is it just me but i watch so many potential career videos and all of them are bs no one points out a striker called khouma babacar from fiorentina,at 21 he starts as a 72 rated st and in 5-6 seasons he goes up to a ninety and after that he ends up progressing to a 94,he doesnt retire in the time you can play career (15 seasons) and you can get him extremely cheap,i ended up getting him for 900k in the first season and all seasons i played with him he was always top scorer and in excellent form,for some reason he never went under excellent.You should try him out and tika musonda goes from a 54 to a 91,biggest potential in the game but no one says it

So, I just looked around for a couple of those players and others from EA's list and there is almost no chance to get any of them with a middle class team.
Tielemans was one of the cheapest I found, but even for him they wanted 16.5 mio. Euros and of course a couple of them just changed team anyway.
So it seems they really increased the prices for talents massively if my memory serves me right, since in Fifa 14 I could easily buy players like Shaw, Bruma and Zouma all at the very beginning of the season even with a limited budget like the ones of Mönchengladbach.
So if you plan to play with a smaller club and just buy all the great talents, it just will not happen.
You can however get the players form the "hidden gems" list relatively easily. So those are players between 50 and 60 OVR but with the potential to grow 20 or more points.
From the siming others have done it seems players now actually grow at least until 29 and maybe only start to drop with 30.
Ould-Chikh has Moroccan roots and Živković has the last name of his mother who's from Serbia.
