I am now confused regarding the loops. The guys in this video definitely recommend SB for the loops. But in other sources, including Rygo's previous comparison video, I see the opposite conclusion. Can someone help me explain? I am especially interested in the 9m version.
Great question-thanks for asking! 🤙🏽 Got a moment for a web chat? Click the following link, and we’ll do our best to help: messenger.providesupport.com/messenger/mackite.html
SB has a lot of power...I've a 2021 SB 7m and I'm 95kg and no joke I've ridden in 17 knots with it. I had an 8m Drifter and it was so forgiving in the gusts and just a super chilled kite. The SB is not for the faint of heart as it just wants to GO. Having said all that, for my locale in South Africa the best times I've had was on my 7m Revolver...which is sadly discontinued...what a faaantastic kite that is...i still got it.
Thank you for sharing your experience, my friend. 🤙🏽 Good winds to you. -Aaron
ive been riding the new ocean rodeo rise.. if you can get your hands on one definitely give it a go.. love it so far.. its super fast and playful
Good call, 2007. 🤙🏽 That Rise Aluula looks sick! Can't wait to have a go on it. Will put that in the queue right away. -Aaron
Great comparison and dialogue, Rygo! I’m seriously considering the 2023 Switchblade, as a complete beginner, both for stability and wind range. Without knowing for sure, I think I’m more into freestyle & free riding than big air; would you still recommend the SB?
Disclaimer: I'm not Rygo and I never had a chance to try the Moto. But based on the knowledge I gathered and my experience with the SB, if I would be a beginner I definitely would go for the SB. Super stable, good for beginners. And as you can see in this video, experienced riders also have a lot of fun with it.
Interesting comparison, I'm conflicted now because I was going to renew my quiver with 9 and 12m motos and I don't know anymore haha, but I'm still at very basic jumps and want to try some foiling so... i may stick with moto but you made it sound better with the sb for jumping
That is a super valid question, my friend. 🤙🏽 I had the same concerns until I rode the MotoX. In my opinion, the NEW design for 2023 is a much closer relative to the Switchblade than the previous Moto design. People have been raving about the MotoX as a do-everything 3-strut kite that is lively and fun. She’s hard to beat. Good winds! -Aaron
@@MACkiteboarding thank you very much for answering, unfortunately (not so unfortunate but in context...) I have a VERY good deal on a moto 2022 quiver, not the 2023 motoX, but I still think/hope it will be a blast to ride!
@@MACkiteboarding Now I'm hyped for a motoX.. haha
Rygo, interested in switchblade vs XR7 and also switchblade vs FX please!
Thank you for asking, Fierce. 🤙🏽 While we cannot speak about the XR7, we will certainly get on the water with the Switchblade and FX to give you a good "Versus" video. -Aaron
