    You did a really good job putting this video together and explaining the main differences between the two cities. I appreciate that the video footage that you use is all actually from one of the two cities. Quality video all around. We chose Bella Vista, and can't wait to get out there!

    Great video, I am glad you did a comparison of the two. I like Bella Vista, small town feel but amenities close by and the school systems look to be great as well. Looks like you have to do some commuting for schools if you live in Bella Vista. Do the school districts offer buses for the young Bella Vista residents?

      Commuting to school could be quite possible. I’m not sure what had taken place at the last meeting or so, but Bentonville was considering consolidated bus stops versus multiple bus routes. As far as Pea Ridge or Gravette (much smaller districts in Bentonville) it was hard finding any online information about that. If you were wanting absolute specific information, I’d be happy to get a hold of someone at the school for you?

    Initial impression: Seems biased with the Bentonville shirt. 😂 great video. Thanks for the information. Both options seem great.

      Lol!!! Trying to be as pragmatic and fair as possible… :). Although my channel is called “living in Bentonville” so…there’s that…
      Thanks for your input my friend. Make it a great day.

    We live in northern Minneapolis area.... A ton of MTB trails.... We are looking at possibilities of selling out and moving to Bella Vista. I have a friend that bought in Bella Vista, he works on sugar trails.

      That’s awesome! We actually moved back to NWA after being in Waconia Minnesota for about six years. You’ll love it here :-) let me know how I can help and thanks for watching.

    Very helpful video, thanks. You mention schools but I was interested in Adults with special needs therapy's or day programs...anything like that exist in the NW Arkansas area? Thank you.

      Thank you sir for the kind words. Depending on the specific special needs of the adult, there could be multiple programs that would be beneficial. One thing I think you should check out is a video I did on true colors tulip farm. They have an amazing story and something you might be interested in listening to/watching. Thanks for watching my friend

      The hilly wooded terrain, the lakes…and a slower pace…but still very close to Bentonville of course.
      We are in our early 50’s just retired

    Is there a downtown bella vista,like square or old bldgs

    • @LivinginBentonville
      @LivinginBentonville  8 месяцев назад

      No. Bella vista became an official city in 2007 ….Bentonville on the other had 150 year head start. There are a couple of “commercial” sections of Bella vista but no old buildings. Thx for watching.

    Honestly Bella Vista is just going to become suburb of Bentonville sooner or later.
    I think BV is really hurting itself by not supporting or pushing for more stores and restaurants. If BV cant find a new way to increase the tax revenue coming in then they will go the way of higher taxes on the people that live there IE property.

      Very well said my friend! I happen to know a city planner in Bella Vista and shares your (and my) perspective. Keep in mind Bella vista is a young city. 2007 if my
      Memory serves. With a lot of the old guard and old way of doing things still in play. You nailed it though in your comment. Thank you…and thank you for watching!

    How about utilities in both cities - internet, gas & electric, water & sewer? Who supplies what and cost difference between both cities. Doesn't Bella Vista have wells and septic only? That would be a no go for us and most folks I bet.

    • @LivinginBentonville
      @LivinginBentonville  Год назад

      That’s a great point my friend. Bella vista is on electric or propane…no natural gas. A large portion of Bella vista is on private sewer aka septic. I haven’t run across any properties in Bella vista on a well however. Most all of bentonville is on gas, electric, public sewer and water.

      Thx again for your input. $9000 would be a fair estimate to connect to city sewer, however I’ve had clients pay over $12k because of their specific lot.
