Thank you very much Anders , for putting yourself out here in interspace for our education and entertainment. I find it most interesting to see how things are done in other lands . I live a similar life here on the west coast of Canada , from the mountains berries , down through the valleys deer and fungi , onto the beaches shellfish and seaweeds and then onto the ocean for some fish , my neighbors , many from Scandinavia , and I do live in a slice of paradise as , it seems , do you. Enjoy and thank you again for sharing

very nice video. so much debate over how to harvest. I would think since nature has sustained these in natural conditions, that plucking would be the most natural. cutting is not a natural event. I did not know you could harvest them even when it appears the tops are dried. are they still edible? or are you just eating those stems. Morels blend into the scenery. These chanterelles really pop! i'm excited to look!

He is not harvesting sustainable when you pull the mushroom out by the roots it wont grow back. Cut the mushroom at the base that way it will continue to grow and spore until the frost come and leave some of the smaller ones so you can go back to the same spot year after year. I have been picking for many years and I get so tired of seeing people like this.
