Much respect for the Bears players who use their voices and platforms to communicate with the public. They have been very deliberate and thoughtful in what they're communicating. Had they not shared the bit they have, the dysfunction and issues would have been allowed to continue with NO changes made. Those who cover sports are being extremely hypocritical. On the one hand, they say they value players sharing what they do, and later go after the players for speaking too much, when they know that if the players didn't share anything they would be howling about the "lack of candor". Be careful what you wish for when you try to tell players to effectively 'shut up'.
Love the show guys. Keep Brown, we don’t need a coach from a team that should have won a SB but hasn’t. Belichek is from a different era. His time has come and gone. Agree with you Lance, get a young coach. Thanks Lance for bringing up the role model. I’m 67 and one of the high points of my life is Ernie Banks stopped me in the hallway of my Southside school and gave me 2 tickets to a Cubs game.
Just give me a head coach that is 1) smart and doesn't get outmatched and doesn't choke in the final seconds 2) isn't awkward and knows how to really get down to earth and talk to his guys and the media like he's a normal human, and 3) be able to man up and take some got dan personal responsibility and admit when he screwed up.

@@Teremei I think it clearly does. Jaylon Johnson is cheering over a QB being selected because he is black rather than his merit as a person and QB.
