Trey Smith ran for over 100 yards and the defense played lights out. That team was loaded on offense and defense. Was basically the same team that went 14-0 in 2004 + or - a few players.
That team was loaded except for the fact they had 4th string rb and missing 3 defensive starters...Bama was 14-17 point favorite... literally NO ONE thought Auburn had a chance....2nd biggest upset in the series and by far the biggest in my 48 years
That's a riddle for strong and wise. Huntsville hasb nasa and Toyota and football. Something's cooking down there. Wonder if a lot of new houses are being built
So Fran ordered the entire team to lose because of impending sanctions. Of course the players all bought in as a gift for his farewell. Makes perfect sense. bammer has NEVER lost a game fair & square. Always an excuse...injuries, refs, coaches picking up strippers, coaches, scouts & boosters paying players causing probation, coaches leaving because of forthcoming probation which causes losses. How ironic. Because the latter, yet again, is not too far off in bammer's future.
Bama has been getting the gift spots on 4th down forever! 11:35 The line judge on the Bama sideline was a joke. Same thing happened in 2009 on 3th and 1. No gain for McElroy and they gave him 2 yards!
You may be right... I can’t remember who was primarily playing fullback/tailback that was hurt... I thought whoever it was cane in against Ga as well and also got hurt...
I looked it up, and Heath was there from ‘97-‘00. RB & Cadillac were a few years younger. But back to this game, I knew they had to have been injured to not play. They were both fun to watch (unless they were making plays agains LSU 😂)
damn I miss Jim Fyffe, one of the old school play by play men
Rod Bramlet stepped in n did such a great job n will b truly missed!
Even though we didn't win a championship that year, this has always been a special victory. Kind of reminds me of the 1986 victory.
I love Bramblett but i miss hearing Fyffe go "OH MY GOODNESS SAKES"
Bramlett has such a great voice!

And BAMA was #1 defense in the country and scoring about 37 Pts/game
They actually were13-0 but still a good year
10:15 awesome play by Karlos Dansby.
That was an awesome video WDE!
6:07 “fooled out of their shoes”
And now Coach TommyTuberville is now Senator Tommy Tuberville representing the State of Alabama.
Who would have guessed?

play at 11:33 probably the worst spot I have ever seen
shane87smith - I can add a dozen more bad spots over the years too!
Terrible.
That spot was so bad it kind of made me wonder.

War eagle for life

Franchione wasn’t even at practice that week. Sad.
"The experts say the chances of an Auburn upset are somewhere between slim and none" lol I hope we never get favored in another game
Alabama, NCAA sanctions. Heard this many, many times in my lifetime.
Dumb excuse
What was that spot?! 😂
When you play bama you play them and their refs.
Where the hell were Cadillac and Ronnie Brown? Was Cadillac hurt?
Yes...Cadillac, RB and Heath Evans all 3 injured..Ronnie Brown and Evans injured against Georgia...think Auburn lost a linebacker against ga too...
Paul Roberts Damn Heath Evans? I thought he was there in ‘98. Caught a TD on a wheel route against LSU
You may be right... I can’t remember who was primarily playing fullback/tailback that was hurt... I thought whoever it was cane in against Ga as well and also got hurt...

Thanks Nola’..... I still can’t think of the other back that was injured against Ga... but it wasn’t Heath Evans, lol
Hey refs keep them in the game.
Yeah lets give him 10 yards even though he made 1
Coach Fran lost this game on purpose in order to grease the skids for his departure.
Sure...
I have never heard a funnier excuse in my entire life
Sure...Bama even had the line judge on their sideline helping out.
@@loupankey2345this was a calamity 😢
Gus would of lost this game.
