great battle, as a joey fan i'm glad he was able to win and lock himself in. i loved that race.
I pull for harvick then joey and ford overall. This track is alot like Phenix. Joey is the king of 20 lap restarts.

That was a show of skill by Chastain. He did a hell of a job trying to hold off Logano but he was coming fast. I knew he had Chastain by about the time he was on the straightaway. But nonetheless had a good run.

Watching joey drive to the front was awesome. Kyle drove to the front too just didn't show it. Kyle might could have caught Joey and been a hell of a race if was about 15 more laps. Joey is the king of 20 lap restarts. He keeps that ford motor singing

Byron was the closest he was to wrecking someone for the win and the situation was exaggerated only because byron brake checked him a little when he was about the give him the bump and run. Joey is not a clean racer because he uses the bump and run but he has never wrecked someone for the win in the cup series. Mark martin and Martin Truex Jr. were victims of the bump and run but they both finished the race... just like Byron did

Logano is the only one with a guaranteed spot at the moment.
If Chastain continues running well for these last two races, he'll for sure make it in. Homestead's somewhat similar to Vegas, so he might win or get at least a top 10.

Chastain and joey do race alota alike. That might have been a preview to what's gonna happen in Phenix. Joey is good there too. Harvick is the best at Phenix

If he can race without causing collateral damage I could appreciate his skills. The “free for all” on track mentality with the younger drivers being enabled by NASCARs lack of discipline is driving away fans.
Joey was like 1.8 seconds behind with 9 laps to go and 2 laps later he was on his ass I believe he was going around one way or another.
Joey had those fresh tires and he was killing it.

Logano just had the faster car and the experience so there really wasn't anything Chastain could do short of wrecking them both ....
it was a good race all around despite the fight that was a little un called for but all around joey and ross put on one hell of a show people might not like joey and that is alright everyone has there favorite driver no driver in this sport is perfect i personally like team Penske was hoping cindric would of won though

@@keithoakes9587 nascar doesn’t do themselves any favors with their time slots. spending almost an hour of their broadcast with pre race coverage and dropping the green flag a hair before 3pm while only having tv time until 6pm is frustrating. every other major sporting event out there has post game/event/race coverage on tv. luckily they were able to get it done before the SNF pre game show. hopefully the next tv deal changes this (but i doubt it)

@@giraffesareselfish9563 Ross Chastain or Chase Elliott for me, more so Ross. Don't much care for Joey but honestly hope Denny gets eliminated in the Round of 8. By far the dirtiest driver in NASCAR right now, possibly in its televised history.

Joey Logano has had a very quiet season, I don't often enjoy rooting for him, but glad he's racing in the race where it matters the most...
He was quiet in 2018 too. All the talk of the big three that year but they never mentioned Joey was not far off them at all. He wasn't getting the top fives, but he was getting the top 10s and the team picked up their speed towards the end of the season

What about the fines and penalties levied against the 18 for losing a wheel on track, wasn't he supposed to be held for a lap or two and the crew chief removed for at least the rest of the year?
