The spoken part at the end is a answer machine message left by maynards landlord at the time "bill the landlord" I always felt like it came from the perspective & inner works of a serial killer they have that mindframe where everything belongs to them etc
Yeah the led zeppelin getting blocked and then the kanye west one messed up the schedule a bit :D As long as you guys enjoy the content though, that is really all that matters.
Fun fact. The "instruments" in this song are actually the sounds of the band members destroying a piano,( including shooting it with a gun and crashing it with a hammer). Rare footages of it can be found somewhere on the internet. Their creativity really goes off the charts sometimes lol.
I've posted this in another reaction video, but Sylvia Massy has a bunch of archived video from the recording of the album. Here's part with the shotgun: ruclips.net/video/XYju_s0Dfe4/видео.html Whole Playlist here: ruclips.net/video/lpGsMAyXBJQ/видео.html
@@Detrucci @Selma No prob. I love behind the scenes stuff, especially hearing songs in pieces, adds to the appreciation of how they're assembled. Tool's sense of humor is so great, too. Sylvia is a really "outside the box" thinker, which really fit well with the band's evolution.
How’d I miss this. Aside from 2 of my fav quotes that beat is one of their top 5. I do wish I could at least just have that looped. The goats throw me off in my car. “Let the rabbits wear glasses- hallelujah”
I think youtube only recommends some of the videos unless people hit the bell button thingy. It's all good, I'm happy you found it still 😊 I did day I was doing every undertow song haha
@@wolf-kissed hey I'm just happy you like the content 😊 it inspires me to do more haha. Plus I didnt think for a minute by starting this I'd fall in love with bands. I blame parabola for that 😂 that song got me good
@@Detrucci Welcome to the tool/MJK army. You definitely have hit some pretty good references that no one else does. Later of course 😉 but it's definitely noticed. Keep it up.
Also check out some live Aenima performences of tool from the mid 90's...Maynard performing in full costume as the reverand is something to.behold Next Tool song: STINKFIST
I have loved watching you react to this album, which made it easier to wait for you to reach Aenima, my favorite album. Have you thought about how you are going to react to them? I know us fans would like to see you react to every song, including the fillers. There are a few you could watch together to make it smoother (reply if you want suggestions, I got em :)
Yeah ofcourse. I appreciate all kinds of music. That is the beauty of music. It is universal and I think anyone who is an avid music fan can enjoy many different styles haha :)
Detrucci me too, big hip hop fan. I meant comparing tools version of amens and hallelujahs to Kanye’s. I always find it interesting how you can say the same words but invoke completely different feelings from them
@@QueenBee-py3ks I think its much much more difficult to even consider being serious with hallelujahs and amens when you grow up with your mother in paralysis for 27 years and yet she still believes in God. It is quite fascinating how just the way you say words can make such a different meaning behind them and even more fascinating that both versions can be correct
Now you know why we say "Let the Rabbits wear glasses"

LET THE RABBITS WEAR GLASSES!!
Greetings from La Paz, Bolivia!!! 🤘
Pumping out the vids....

You should check the follow up to APC PET...do Counting Bodies Like Sheep. It's HEAVY.
I think it's Danny playing around with sounds in his electronic drums.
Welcome back Richard :) Miss seeing your name around
Um, he didn't use electronic drums in 1993
It's all production by Sylvia Massy
There is a video of Maynard shooting the shotgun that you hear in the song...I believe he is shooting a piano?
This could also seemlessly fit on a Puscifer album
That's Maynard on shotgun

“I fart in your general direction”
Your mother was a hamster
0:15 Me: oh no!
0:19 Me: Oh yeahhhh
By the way: Maynard actually made the shotgun sounds by shooting an actual shotgun. Heres the video: ruclips.net/video/XYju_s0Dfe4/видео.html
It seems to me that he’s talking about murder
I bet this is kinda funny to react to after reacting to Kanye’s new stuff😉
