I think what is happening here is that it’s trying to keep a total of six items. The ones where you only get two in the top they give you four in the bottom. So each individual mystery box has a total of six. Love you, NerdE!
Yeah but unfortunately it skips out on a lot of missed opportunities in order to keep the "6 minis" it is lowkey kinda underwhelming. I rather less and cooler minis than weird box shaped things

Yeah, it just makes it obvious that they already know their products have issues that she's going to pick up on in her review and that they want to hide the reality of their products until after people have bought them instead of hearing honest feedback, so they are only willing to work with reviewers who will gloss over the issues and make people want to buy the product regardless of how good or bad it is

Though they aren't the best quality mini's, I think kids would enjoy playing with these with their dolls and figurines. I remember not being too bothered about proper scale as a kid, but would have loved something like this to use with my beanie babies lol
Yeah the lack of details and scale and all of that just makes me think they're just making something for kids not everyone, mini brands sends boxes to adult creators and not just kid centered channels, they're pretty clearly trying to market it to all ages

Jackie, I think if you notice, the ones you got two from one mini, you get four in the other one. So together you get 6 mini minis total (or 3 and 3 = 6). So is consistent in the “You get 6 mini minis total” it’s just that not all of them have three.
I did notice that, but also the same brand she got 3 in one box and 4 in another for the Otter Pops, just is oddly inconsistent. Like how much would you have to pay attention to make sure there’s 4 and 2 so you’re not shorting people? Lol
Yesss. They’re supposed to be a mystery though. So some of them don’t have the corresponding product inside. Since the check list is listing both the “bigger” mini and the minis inside
They had one job!! The chupa lolipops were very disappointing and a lot (if not all) of the packages looked like low effort laziness. They're inconsistent with the amount of minis inside each packaging cause they equal "6 total minis" as advertised inside so they aren't false advertising at least xD.
No, they aren't inconsistent!!! There are ALWAYS 6 in each package. If there are 2 of one then there are 4 of the other. If one has 3, the other one has also 3. Counting to 6 shouldn't bei that difficult, should it? So accusing them of being inconsistent ist wrong. They aren't.

To a degree, reusing the shapes for both the otter pops and the fla-vor ice (whatever it called) makes sense since they are both that shape in their normal size 😅
Otter Pops are like freezer popsicles that you freeze. Also, the “pill shaped mints” you’re thinking of are TicTacs.

Would be cool to see a video where you attempt to craft better versions of these mini's in mini's :P Could even use the outside package and fill them with ACTUAL mini peeps or mike and ikes made of clay or resin

For more context, I have purchased real peeps that are a multi-pack and had prepackaged boxes inside the larger one. So i was not as surprised that they re-created that in this mini's brand. Yet, they could have designed the larger pack to look more like a multi-pack, but I thought that was too much packaging then too.
It would be interesting to see her use resin to recreate the popsicles, so they actually look icy!
You can get between 2 and 4 minis in one package but each pack will have 6 minis guaranteed and I think the shapes of the minis is one of the limiting factors. The Mike & Ike's (and similar movie theater candy boxes) will have two or three because if there were more, the container wouldn't be able to close. The Otterpop, Mentos, and Necco Wafer boxes are easier because their products inside are tube-like and would fit better.

Jackie, as far as I know, buying a complete case doesn't guarantee that you will have absolutely all the items. That would be counterproductive for the company. If all it took was one box for each person to have all the miniatures in their possession, it would reduce purchases and thus reduce revenue. The idea behind this kind of collection is to force people to spend again and again to complete it. If you were to get them all, I think it would be a matter of luck 😉
That's the system a lot of American companies use, yes, which admittedly this one is. In Japan you can usually buy a case of this kind of thing and collect the whole set, and they still make money. Most people can't buy a full case at a time anyway. It's a difference of philosophy at the end of the day, not staying in the green.

While I agree that you would make an awesome consultant, something that needs to be remembered is that most of these products are made in a warehouse on an assembly line. Unless there are people standing and inspecting every single item, there is going to be issues. There is going to be printing errors.
You got the sparkle Peeps and the sparkle Flavor Ice is the box you got the extra cotton candy with.
Those weren't sparkly Hun, they where just the regular version of that same flavor but no glittery sparkle on them so they weren't the rares.
Oh... I didnt look close enough then. I saw the colors were the same. I missed the glitter detail for the rares. lol I just thought sparkle was just another way for them to word it. Not litteral sparkle. Never know with some of these companies.

Hey Jackie - in the US especially around Easter time, peeps come in a big pack that contains multiple square “rows” of peeps , individually wrapped. This is probably the look they were going for with those…. But I agree little chickens would have been adorable !
True, but even compared to the rows, this is disappointing. I was also hoping to see chimkens!

It may be something about safety laws that keep them from actually making the tiny candy like peeps, pez, and mentos. It might be a choking hazard for children. Also I think you'll enjoy the game Code Vein. It's currently on sale on Steam till the 10th.

The dumdums aren’t printed upside down though you can just turn the cap if you don’t like the orientation 😅 I actually really liked opening these when I found them they’re fun to open.. also they didn’t make mistakes with the packaging because it says you get 6 mini minis in each package 🤷♀️

The otter pops are supposed to have four of them and it wasn’t a mistake. The packaging said there is six minis in the minis and the four otter pops plus the two cotton candy bins make it a total of 6 minis in the minis. Also, Necco is the company that started those candy hearts that you get on Valentine’s Day. Before the hearts, they just made circular ones that are a lot like smarties.
JACKIE! The yellow flavor pops are the rare ones! I look up the list and the only two options are the blue one you got and the yellow or “shiny” one. That might be the reason as to why there wasn’t any popsicles with it but either way I think you’ll find it interesting.
I'm not impressed by these, but I do think the Pez packages looked real for the ones they sell without the dispenser, and at least where I live Chupa Chups are wrapped tightly so that they look like balls, not in little bags like the other lollipops you mentioned, so with the level of accuracy they put into these products, those were pretty spot on. I also believe those tubular packages of Mentos are pretty much how they are sold where I live. But I still find this pretty lame and useless, and not even cute like some of the other minis.
I also think the pez ones looked real. The way the sticker came off is the way I unwrap my Pez XD. Mentos are sold in rolls here as far as I know, so I didn't see anything wrong there, just boring.

I love Necco Wafers. If you have never seen/had them, they are about quarter-sized disks. They are colorful and have actual flavors. The pink ones I think are supposed to be cherry but taste like Pepto-Bismal (Pepto-Bismal is supposed to have a cherry flavor as well), the black/purple ones are my favorite as they taste like black licorice, and the brown ones taste like chocolate. I don't remember the other flavors. They were actually discontinued for a while but a company that makes nostalgia stuff got the rights to the original recipe and continues to make them.
They sell them in the giant rolls at the Dollar Tree.
The only black licorice flavor I like. I used to live by the Necco factory in Cambridge, MA, and the air smelled so good!
The white ones tasted like cloves.
...and now I want some.
My dad and I always bought the just chocolate tubes of them. We loves those!
Many people who didn't really grow up with them find them chalky and bland, which I can see, but I liked them at least as a kid. Haven't had them in a while as my grandma always bough them..haven't had them since she passed.
My guilty treat is literally just.... straight up regular marshmallows straight from the bag LOL

Once again everybody giving enormous shout out to Ace of clay. None of these little minis videos would be possible without him. It amazes me that he takes time from a very busy successful Channel and goes out and shops and then takes the time to send these out to Jackie. He is an absolutely amazing human being if you haven't subscribed please be sure to do it. Because of him Jackie has an enormous amount of activity on her Channel and he should benefit from this as well.
For me, I kind of like these better than mini brands because of the tiny things inside the tiny things! I don’t mind missing the details. Even though it’s not perfect it’s just fun to have the tinier items as well.
Hey Jackie, there IS consistency. If they couldn't fit 3 minis inside, they gave you an extra one in the second prize. So the little-littles always gave you six total prizes.

The mini-in-minis are a total of 6 per package. Some things only have 2 of the tiny ones inside so you get 4 of the other items' things. That's why they are different (inconsistent).

Jackie, the TOTAL item count is SIX of the mini mini's. So, if one of the "bigger" minis can only fit two, the OTHER has four, and the default is three each.

Jackie, if you look back at the product groupings, you’ll notice that in the packages that had one with 2, the other would have 4 = the 6 it claims on the packaging. The ones with 3, had 3 in both.

Jackie, the reason why the minis in the minis are inconsistent is because they state on the packages that you get "6 minis in the minis" and some minis can only hold 2 mini minis, so the surprise needs to have 4

To comment on your issues with the inconsistencies in the number of minis you were getting inside the actually mini, the company wasn’t wrong on the number of minis they were giving you. It says on the package you get a total of 6. That’s why you got 2 mike and Ike and 4 Necco. 3 and 3 would make sense in each but some minis are bigger than others.
Every time you upload a video it always manages to make me feel better whether I had an exhausting day, feel tired or upset ; you always manage to cheer me up so thank you for that ❤
Necco's were my childhood, the black, green, and brown wafers were the best. I think I miiight of liked the purple, but it was some obscure flavor.

It's worth all my money-
I think the reason one side of the Mike N Ike candies had a white border was because they forgot to "cut out" the candy assets from their white backgrounds in Photoshop. Other comments may be right about the number of minis (every mini has a different number so that the whole container always equals six), but they still have horrible quality control.
I think you’re right. They literally put non-transparent .png’s on the freaking product and didn’t even fix it 😂
I think it's Illustrator. You can't paste transparent images into it, you have to do a bunch of stuff to turn it into a vector and then delete the background. (Well, kind of. It depends on the image)

This company is definitely inconsistent and it’s really frustrating that the product doesn’t give the quality it promises.
Mentos are also sold here in Sweden and chupa chups are sold from time to time. My fav chupa chups flavor is strawberry and milk. It reminds me of Egypt and my childhood.

So they basically gave mini boxes of peeps in a mini box of peeps. 🤦♀️
real otter pops look almost like that- except the wrapper is transparent. They came out in 1970 and are known as a type of popsicle that can be left outside the freezer without issue until you want to freeze some to eat them. They are in the memories of likely a lot of people from growing up with them around. Otter pops are so simplistic that its disappointing to me that they wouldn't at least do the transparent wrapper.
I was surprised and genuinely happy to see a Necco package! I grew up with them, they were 50 cents for a roll at the store in my tiny town, so it was one of my go-to items (along with the two foot tall Pixi Stix for $1.50) whenever I used my allowance to buy snacks. They're kinda like Smarties but just plain sugar from my memory. You seemed disappointed in the mini minis, but they were exactly what I expected and honestly I think I would have been upset if they hadn't been rolls.
Maybe you could ask Ace of Clay to pick out some staple American candy you've never had or heard of before for you to try out with the next thing he picks up for you!

Finally,someone who knows what cookie butter is! My dad found it in a store years ago,got it,and we had it in our pantry. I tried it once,and I still eat it to this day. It’s so good,like gingerbread
When she explained to us what the toy was in thought it was a box of something and a smaller version. for example; a small Mike and Ikes box, and inside it would be a mini (even smaller) Mike and Ikes box!

You explained Mike n Ikes pretty well actually. Mike n Ikes are some of my favorite candies actually...along with lemon heads.
I laughed so hard about peeps are tasting like sprinkled air. When my friend and I (both from Germany) traveled through the US during Easter we bought some peeps. We were so confused about the taste and the whole sense of it.🤣

I grew up with Otter pops. I loved the grape one. I still get them once in awhile (it takes me awhile to go through the pack).
I think my favorite snackie thing is Black Forest Gummy Worms. SO GOOD.

necco wafers are like the candies that your grandma's friend - not your grandma, she loves you; your grandma's friend doesn't really like kids and doesn't know what to say to them - carries around in her purse and gives to you when you go out to lunch with them. they look like tums and taste like chalk. gross 😂

Necco is available in the US. They are most similar to smarties, except larger and flatter. They arent as sweet but still a good candy

Otter pops! I believe they’re found mainly in west coast US. But they’re freezer pops. Every otter has their own flavor.
