Did you find your answers? I got a new switch and didn’t know about this. Got on the air plan yesterday and couldn’t play any of my games offline! I don’t want to lose my data on my (current) primary console if I deregister it remotely.

Annoyingly realised this was an issue when I was on a flight for 8 hours 😩😩😩 Usually just use the Switch when I’m at someone’s and I’m on the Wi-Fi lol.
I do have two switchs but just wanted to check if I register my new switch as the Primary does this mean the other one is redundant and can’t be used?

Create a new profile but only on one of them. Use different profile eacc time you play and it will have different save files. You do not have to connect to Nintendo profile unless you plan to play online with the second account.
