I haven't seen any article or any other video mention scenario #3, and I think that may be the best option for us to start with. (I also don't mind if he uses my Switch, the primary one, if he really wants to play one of those games). Thanks for the suggestion. This is definitely worth a sub to your channel! :)

It's so confusing and backwards.

Option 2 seems like the best over all.. all you have to do is make 3 profiles. Profile 1 is shared across both consoles and only makes purchases. Profile 2 and 3 are not shared at all so everyone has their own saved data. This makes it so both consoles can buy games, but minimize the chance of messing up someone’s game data. Example- ⚫️ (shared account) 🔵🔴(individual accounts) both consoles have access to ⚫️ to purchase whatever but have no access to the individual ones.

    • @Fick45
      @Fick45 Год назад +5

I get what you saying so you got 2 switch lights, you make 1 primary profile to make the purchases but that primary account must be connected to both switches. Then both switches make their own profiles separate from the primary to avoid any data mixups.

The only problem with your solution is that profile ⚫️ can only be set as primary account for switch A only. Switch A can play games and have its own saves using profile 🔵. However, switch B can ONLY access the games using profile ⚫️. Switch B cannot play the games using profile 🔴 as profile ⚫️ is already set as the primary account on switch A.

  • @STR8SURGICAL

The data provided here wasn’t completely accurate. One of those ways does work, which is the last. But the other two do not work the way it was explained. Using words like “should” don’t help the situation. If you would’ve tried to provide a video tutorial showing each step on both switches, you would’ve found that the first 2 options do not work that way.
Only the account that moves to the second switch can play the games on both. NO ONE else can create or use any profile on the second switch to play the games brought over.
Furthermore, you can only deregister your account ONCE per year. So this does not work the way explained either.

banned will occur if you share your account to more than 4 switches (not exactly sure because its a case-to-case basis) and aren't in the same proximity area of the primary user (different region or country).
also if there are several concurrent users accessing the primary account (regardless of playing same game or not). this will trigger Nintendo that the account maybe sold to several users or was hacked.

Great video and info. Not too many people cover this 👍🏽. I had a couple questions if you could help me out or anyone in the comments could help me out?
    1) Have you had the chance to try the NYXI joypads? I hear they are getting better praise over the Binbok joypads, which I love both of your videos on those by the way. Just wanted to see if they are worth getting?
    2) Do you have any recommendations for and good display stands for the switch and controllers? To prevent clutter and better organization 😁

Hi everyone! I recently got banned on a Nintendo switch device. I was literally banned because I transferred my data and account on the new switch I bought (OLED). Yes I did NOT hack or anything.. It sucks.. but now I'm worried that I will be banned a 2nd time because my nintendo account is still linked to the banned one. The problem is I can't change it. It doesn't let me delete the nintendo account on the banned one.

From what I understand, you can (at least with the first two methods).
      - owner can play game on secondary switch,
      - other users can play same game on primary switch.
I will try this method to play against my daughter, with me on secondary, and her on primary,
But we still only have one shared console, but I realize we need a second for some games to be more fun.

    2. Wife (needs wifi)
    3. Kid 1 (need wifi)
    4. Kid 2 (need wifi)
    I got the Family Plan.
And every one has there own profile from my account, and it works fine.
