But hasn't anyone realised, what is all the fuss about Levi Colwill? Is he really that special, because from what I can see he is no better, or worse than any of the other centre backs on our books. He is not a stand out defender at all. In fact our best performances came at the end of the season, when he didn't feature. Last season if you all remember, when re-joining from Brighton, he need reassurances from Poch that he would get regular game, with the hope of making the Euros. Did he make the Euros squad? Was he even in the conversation?
I know he was injured for while, but whether he played out of position or at centre back, no one was mentioning Levi Colwill and England in the same breath. So far, he looks like just another one of our overrated Cobham academy graduates. If he wants to stay and prove himself good enough to be a Chelsea first team regular I'm ok with that. If he wants to go, it makes no difference either way, from what I've seen so far.
