Calvin Crosby was shot while acting as a Good Samaritan in a robbery at Sun Valley Mall in Concord , CA. My daughter started a go fund me for their daughters, my amazing granddaughters who have been in my videos when younger. Here is a link to the go fund me. Any amount is greatly appreciated. We are devastated and Calvin was a veteran of the army and an amazing father. Artist, poet and entrepreneur at he and his cousins clothing store. A senseless gun violence tragedy…

@@ErikAnderson1 mate, fixing things is easy, except fixing broken hearts and spirits. The only remedy is love and support, together with time. Know you aren't alone in your struggle, there are folks who care giving you moral support from the sidelines all the time, 24/7. Cheers, mate. Ps I find spending an hour sharpening my chisels very therapeutic, whether they need sharpening or not.

I'm really sorry to hear of your great loss. I don't think I ever told you before that I was a senior anti-terrorist detective during the conflict in Northern Ireland and attended over 100 murder scenes. Most were gunned to death while others were blown up so I'm all too ware of the effect this has on the families left behind. Calvin seemed a fine young man. He was shot twice by a hand gun in a mall by a juvenile and hence gun violence. If someone is carrying a gun in a city and hunting humans but not eating the meat from their kill it is gun violence. if someone eats the human meat it is Cannibalism. Either way guns have no place in an urban setting. Hunting for food is one thing but killing for money or goods that are someone else's is unacceptable senseless murder. The items being robbed were worth much less than a father's life who was just finding their entrepeneural way to rise and bring his family up. He was acting as a good Sameritan when he was senselessly gunned down at 32 years of age. He was an Army Vetran who made it out of the military uninjured only to be murdered while at work at the store he and his cousin made to sell their clothing line and they were doing well. Gun Violence is using a gun to kill people and become a murderer. The Juvenile who shot will be tried as an adult and here is yet another tragedy, as this young man was stewarded by society without a father leader, and now he will be in a privitized prison where his time will be profit for the system that stewarded him there. Judge will sit there on the bench while just giving the mandatory sentencing. So hard to comprehend this loss of a very giving individual who was my son in law, amazing artist, vetran, poet, husband, son, brother, grandson, friend and blossoming entrepeneur. Thank you Rob Sherbon Jr. for your contribution. Sorry for the long reply but it is a way for me to come to grips with the tears in my heart and on my cheeks and the ones still held back in my brain.

Seems to me it would make perfect sense to have a gun in a urban setting to defend yourself from the likes of the juvenile that killed this gentleman…. Also, my point was, if he had been bashed in the head with a hammer would you call it “hammer violence”… or if he had been poisoned would you call it “poison violence”… no you would just call it what it is… senseless murder. Guns are the only means of murder that get blamed for the murder… all other times someone is murdered the murderer is blamed. Gun can’t be violent without a murder attached to one end of them.

As an Australian, a person with a gun in a Mall would trigger an emergency and a police squad immediately. The person would be jailed for carrying a weapon and probably have to undergo a psycological assessment. I'm sorry for your lose, to take a life so cheaply is astounding. My very best hopes and wishes for your daughter and family at the difficult time.
