Sounds like a cult. I hope they get any other kids in that group out of there because cults almost always seem to get into some weird child abuse shit.
It's not something they "get into", it's something most cults are built on. Almost all cults are controlled by men, and almost all of those men have disturbing notions about their "right" to abuse others under their distortion of religious language. All organized religion is built on notions of personal supremacy and a desire to control and abuse others. They're power ponzi schemes. Even those at the lowest ranks have a superiority complex over those outside of the collective, but everyone above them has the imagined authority to control and abuse those below them. People participate in them because they want to control others, they want to feel more "special" than others, they seek control over other free people. Doesn't matter what organized "religion" you look at, they all have the same structure and it's all built on supremacy, control and abuse.
Religious organizations are tax-exempt in America, this is why all your "Southern Baptist" preachers have mansions, why all your "Evangelical" pastors have private jets and why all your "Mormon" organizations in Utah own billions of $s in property. It's legalized corruption.

Yes, it's always been bad, ranging from judges getting kickbacks for sentencing kids to for-profit placements, to "treatment" centers abusing kids, sometimes abusing kids to death, to kids being locked up for years in places that will just reach them to become better criminals .
Cameras everywhere!! ❤
The religious far right want no regulations whatsoever. That's why they worship tRump, too, he hates regulations. They also want to make it "legal" to marry 12 year old girls.
If you dig far enough I bet you find many religious non-profits acting as fronts for child-support meditators and fake DUI evaluators. They want to dismantle the administrative state and it isn't because private business/org does government "gooder". They want to fleece public funds to their cults and their own pockets without any oversight.
Religious compound? I think you mean cult compound.
It's both.
Kids held against their will and systematically beaten by these so called people of god ! They a few years ago raided one in nearby Clarksville Indiana and removed dozen or so kids .
Dear Lady, True.
@@karimapoet3618 o don’t see how it can be both, I actually believe ALL religions are cults. I do not se a difference. Religion is just a way to control the population.
Religion is a cult
Bless his heart. Thank God he was found
Good for the judge!!
Denying bond often seems WRONG to me. Maybe you should look at the amount of people who would be held in jail because the judge doesn’t want backlash from the voters, and how many of those people are actually overcharged or possibly even innocent. But yeah, it feels good to have someone we don’t like held in jail. But feelings are not due process. Maybe one day you will be caught up with a bad cop and then the blues and everything because you’re stuck in jail over the word of one single cop, and then maybe your opinion will change. Sometimes people are not able to see past their own two feet.d
Thank you Grandma, state police and Judge Kitt. 🙏💙🙏❤️🙏💙🙏
I think they were hiding him because the child was beaten by his father and they didn't want his injuries to be reported, so they reported him missing to explain away any permanent harm.
Also, How the hell does beating your child causing permanent damage equate to only 2 and a half years in prison?
They didn't report him missing. Grandma called the cops after she saw his face. They pulled them over 4 mins after leaving her house and Bryson was already gone out of the car.
WOW!! So many children in this world are being mistreated and it's by the hands of parents!! It's sad and hurtful💔. I'm so happy this young man is safe. May God keeps him safe from anymore harm.
@@patseyjohnson470 So many children in this world have already been beaten and raped by the religious authority figure in their lives. Just look at what the Catholic Church alone has done. Their report a year of so ago said that just in the Chicago diocese all there were about 2,000 SA victims of priests. It's horrifying, and the Catholic Church is far from alone. There is an endless stream of arrests of clergy members and staff for SA and r*pe.
Really?? Your kidding me!! 😮
Bond should be denied more often. These folks need to be locked up.
That poor young man needs to be with someone who actually cares about him.. those parents don't care about him at all it seems.
God doesn't care about him? Odd.
Grama is there ❤️
@ddums89 what?
He can come live with us. WE don't believe hitting is discipline or is berating. We can love him love him love him
Oh boy do you sound creepy
Also thanks to the Grandma!!! You are a hero!!!
Yes
Some people just don't DESERVE to have children. Children are a blessing.
Not correct. Those parents who hid their child are also someone's child too. Does that make the parents a blessing too?
Former Colt Now he in a Cult smh

Wheres their other children?

Beginning of justice. No bail
Some States have no bond/bail & KY is one of them!😮

They should look at the other compound too for child abuse
Now why did that child have a swollen face and black eye? The pastor can’t be backing abuse, right?
His grandmother said it was Daniel.
"Pastor" Muir is the boys father and the one who did it.
His delusional lawyer certainly is! 😤
Hope the teen get the help he needs and grow up to be a better person than the parents.
Thanks Grandma ❤
We have Black kids shooting up St Louis everyday and night… What did the kid do???? When the Government and media start calling Your Religion a Cult… and don’t give any examples or proof … We are all in trouble… Can you say Waco?
Dude is literally threatening law enforcement
Remind anyone of Lori Vallow and Chad Daybell??? Thank God this boy is alive!!
I’m happy he’s safe & that the judge 👨🏽⚖️ ordered NO Bond! They abused him & don’t deserve kids!!!
Yeah yeah, blah blah blah. The Bible says discipline, not abuse. There is a big difference. You don't give a 14 year old black eyes.
True.. but 12-15year olds are stealing cars, robbing people and killing each other every day in St Louis. What did the Young Man do??? 14 is Not a child anymore…
👍
Thank goodness!! I’ve been worried about this kid. So glad he was found and rescued.
Heartbreaking Im so happy Bryson was found safe and judge made right choice No bail. May this child get justice and a good life with good healthy family.
The leader issuing what sounds like a threat.
There is a lot more to this than police will ever tell
I’m so grateful he’s ok!!!
Yes
You lawyers is so lie they beat the child look at the child eye 👁 and face
Lawyers have to lie, that's basically their job when they're representing someone they know is probably guilty of the crime they're accused of.
Everyone is entitled to legal representation and part of providing that to sickos like these is that you have no choice but to suspend your morality.
Speculate much???
@@pawsac2759why run and hide him then? Think with your brain.

This entire situation is extremely bizarre

The baby will live without the milk! She full of IT
Thank God he is alive. Not sure if after the trauma he will be fully OK but I pray he will improve.
He is definitely going to need a lot of love and therapy. ❤
I know grandma's happy. Thank god he's safe.
I just don’t get it why would they do something like this to their own child??? That poor lil boy
omg that poor young man's face is so battered; blessings wished for his Grandmother who stepped up to protect her grandson.
As a damaged armored police vehicle rolls off of the property and announces over a loud speaker “thank you for your cooperation”. 😂😂😂😂😂
That’s a robocop moment.
Amen, I'm so glad you found him. I'm glad you are looking into other children, thank you for the update. Pocatello, Idaho
There are some good judges left out there...
Their lawyer is ridiculous saying they haven't done anything wrong.
The truth will either set you free or it will condemn you. Don't do things in the dark that you don't want to come to the light. If we, as individuals, can't own up to our own faults and do what is right, there are people in this world that will absolutely have to make the decision for you, so it can be a safe environment for everyone.
this was great reporting! the editing was minimal, just enough to emphasize the story; direct interviews of the subjects were included; and the story wasn't told in a narrative format to allow for dramatic reveals or whatever. it's also a crazy story - i'll be waiting for a follow-up. great job, everybody.
Do we know how many children The Muir’s have? I didn’t realize there was a 8mo old. If she is worried about nursing maybe they would allow mom to pump. The baby shouldn’t be penalized for the parents wrongs.
You have a face that scares Costco sheet cakes.
There are other ways to feed a baby.

Awesome Judge!!! I wish we had more judges like him.
Sounds like a cult. I hope they get any other kids in that group out of there because cults almost always seem to get into some weird child abuse shit.
I heard at one of the compounds there are like 200 kids.
I hope the young fella is going to be OK.
Have this cult paid there taxes?
Of course not! That’s one of the reasons they hide behind religion!
It's probably tax free because he is a "pastor" and the "church" own the property.
@@DoxieMomCarrieDowell is no pastor. He has FOUR WIVES
CULT LEADER!!
Dear Anna 5834, The more the wicked and teef can build sham religions, the more they can rob the state of taxes.
Religious organizations are tax-exempt in America, this is why all your "Southern Baptist" preachers have mansions, why all your "Evangelical" pastors have private jets and why all your "Mormon" organizations in Utah own billions of $s in property.
It's legalized corruption.
Nice of the CULT-LEADER to show off some of his Arsenal!!!

Im glad they found that young man; I hope they get years for abusing him. Glad they were denied bail, too. Im just saddened that this boy after being abused has to go into the system bc his parents were crap.
Hateful and horrible parents!
This is the first I’ve heard of this story…why was the boy considered “missing” when he was with his parents?

This is the problem with “churches” being tax free
The problem isn’t the churches it’s the “pastors” . They are in for the $$ and the control of their masses. Remember all these cults have sa of both women and children
What about the Jewish Synogagues? What about AIPAC being registered as a foreign conflict of interest and forbade from bribing our politicians?
