- This is just a bit of a science experiment to create some awesome color effects using milk, food coloring and dishwashing liquid. It's done with a softly spoken voice.

Ohh all I could think of was space, nebulas and planets! I was mesmerized throughout the whole video. The patterns were gorgeous!

The last one was beautiful, it reminded me of the universe and our galaxy and all the beautiful things in space
Those fractals at 17:00 were pretty cool. You were pretty on point with the science behind it. Soap's chemistry is like a phospholipid in that there is a hydrophilic and lipophilic end (water loving, fat loving), and milk has plenty of fats and proteins, so as the soap tries to combine with the fat (the lipophilic end, that is), it creates a propulsive effect.
i have to wonder what it would look like if you dipped the dishwasher fluid into either end of the plate at the same time.
I may need to try this too. I'm wondering if prints can be made from this, like the way marbled paper is made?

To make the opening of the bottle smaller, put scotch tape across half of the opening. Stick it to the sides of the bottle to keep it securely in place.

A tip would be to pour the color into the cap first, makes it easier to get a small amount of color.

Wow, this is really fascinating! I work in a kindergarten, with kids around age 2, and this inspired me to do something like this with them! I bet they would be as mezmerized as I was! Thank you for sharing this with us! :)

Holy crap, this was the first asmr video that I ever watched, it's been so long!
It's like a kaleidoscope. Just beautiful. But I wonder if there is a way to transfer an image on to paper or fabric so you can keep it / frame it, etc.

the thicker pigments are ment to be used in stuff your going to mix up. if you want them to drip you put some in a small thimble and water it down. then you can drip it into the milk or what ever your wishing to do.
It's the soap basically trying to clean and do its job. You can use water as well milk is just slightly thicker so it mixes slower, my kids did this in school.

So the reason the amaricolor doesnt work as good is because its a gel paste. The liquid food color works better because it would if you drop it spread on its own.

Where did you get your food coloring you used last
About 20 minutes in, there's a really pretty teal or aqua blue effect, like the Aurora Borealis.

How could you possibly save these? Would it be theoretically possible to make this solid, apart from freezing it, and have it up as art in the home?

wish you would try holding one for very long time - and try dipping one with fresh soap in a plate that already has messy colors (right in the middle maybe) - and also try putting a little new color in a allready colored plate (first little color - dip - then lots of color - dip) - be a little more creative :p but cool
