I live in Florida. I have 4 pimento trees in my backyard. I harvest the berries every year, process the berries, bottle the dried product and give it away to my family and friends. I’m in love with pimento. I owe my education to it. I’m from Woodlands.

let me reminded the dealers who buy an trade in pimento ..that to ensure the good quality of the filled dry one is to get a hand full an shake at your ears .when fully dyed the seeded get loose an it shakes...
I got a sapling to plant it in a grow bag. But i mistakenly used clay soil which retains more water and my pimento started dying. Now I repotted with coco peat soil mix with quick draining. Let me wait for some more days to see it's revival. My place is Chennai city India
@@myislandjamaica. I lived in Manchester, Jamaica until I was 3-4 years old. My parents made pimento wine with the ripe berries and bundled the bush and sold to factories. The ripe berries can be combined with ginger and g-- , soaked in rum for an ointment for pain.
The whole tree of allspice can be used. The purples are meant for wine or tonic. Whenever touching a tree, learn it’s used in all parts so that none of it goes to waste.
Trying to make some for myself, should I wash the green berries to remove any dust and potentially bugs? Would it be bad? Also should I remove the stems? Don't know how to do it easily

Bro you said that the ripe pimento should thrown out, so obviously you don't know we used it for Tommy ache and I sure it's bee used for other medical reasons.
The government need to cut out these people and buy it. The farmers get nothing because they buy on lend and if it is spoilt on her side she cut the farmers share. As I said the government should help more. The whole thing is to bring in business men
