Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros is an American indie folk band formed in Los Angeles, California in 2007. Led by lead vocalist Alex Ebert, the group features a revolving lineup of up to 12 people. It began as a collaboration between Ebert and singer Jade Castrinos as part of a musical collective. Ebert's live persona and the band's name are based on the protagonist of a story he wrote, a messianic figure named Edward Sharpe. Drawing from roots rock, folk, gospel, and psychedelic music, the band's image and sound evoke the hippie movement of the 1960s and 1970s. The group's first show was played July 18, 2007 at The Troubadour in West Hollywood, California. Their first studio album, Up from Below, was released on July 7, 2009 on Community Records and featured the popular single "Home". Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros released their second full-length album, Here, on May 29, 2012. Their third album, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, was released on July 23, 2013.

I don't listen to much of this band, but when i do i gravitate towards jade. she has a calming presence and intelligence, which is why she doesn't have to speak at stupid interviews such as this.
She is so my favorite. Wish I could meet her

jade was this bands best asset . musicaly , they obviously dont think so .
Oh they know but who is going to admit that . Alex is very good as well but no doubt Jade leaving hurt this band badly . Until she returns it will not be the same .
Her talent wasn't worth the drama she caused in the band.
I wish we knew why she was kicked out, even though it's none of my business, I guess. In some early interviews she acted like she could have been on drugs, but the later stuff, she seems mostly normal, just kind of quiet.
+Kel B Alex is a recovering addict, so maybe she drank too much or something.
Alex was dismissive and passive aggressive towards her. You can see it in her body language. She's probably healthier away from Alex.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard that the reason my ex wife and I got divorced was because I was probably mean when in reality I would drop anything for her but she cheated but people assume the stupidest stuff like you just did.
@@dedo7326 woah man talk about projecting x) they said that based on their body language etc. Perhaps that's not what you see but I see it. Don't think that it's that black and white though, she were super high a lot during performances, at least before this idk if that were still the case, etc. And he seemed to hold a grudge toward her I'm this interview for some reason. Perhaps they fought before the interview. 🤷♀️ But yeah, he was being disrespectful no matter the reason imo.
