Great episode! Triple H is not best for business. After years of not being liked by marks, he's thrown them a major bone by signing countless darlings. Triple H can stroke his ego, rehabilitate his image and stiff the indies by raiding their rosters at the same time. But everything Russo and Vito say are accurate. NXT uses hardcore fans to spend money on WWE, via Network subscriptions, merchandise or Takeover shows. But none of that helps counter falling TV ratings. Casuals couldn't care less who Adam Cole or Pete Dunne are. They see two short guys with no crossover appeal. The fact Triple H signs so many of these guys and girls from elsewhere is a symptom of how he hasn't the first clue of creating homegrown talent. Russo understands that wrestling at its peak was ENTERTAINING as they ran like variety shows which all kinds of viewers would tune into, just like they would a drama or a sitcom. Does the Performance Center run promo and acting classes? At least build characters.
Vince should form his own company with Kevin Dunn and Shane McMahon, they would kick Hunter's ass.
I could definitely see that. Dunn is apparently hated by Hunter and Stephanie

I remember that pay per view it was in 1999 and it wasn't a house show it was a pay per view for the uk wwe used to do pay per views for the uk i can't believe Russo don't remember that

As for Triple H, I'm very weary about the idea of him running WWE after Vince steps down one day. Basically there are two visions clashing in WWE - Vince McMahon's on one side while Stephanie McMahon & Triple H on the other.
Here's the most important question of all - does Vince McMahon have confidence in the WWE's current roster?

Ever since Triple H became a mark darling (what a turnaround from 15 years ago) he's been dodging questions left and right in interviews. Recently he couldn't even explain why so many NXT wrestlers fail on the main roster. Triple H deserves to be called out on his shit. He can play the marks, but he's not fooling anyone else.

Indy T Bailey herself echoed this!- she said in an interview that she came out of NXT thinking that she was a bigger star than she actually was (because those small, mark-filled, NXT crowds cheer everything you do, just because u are a wrestler LOL!)- she said when she debuted on Raw, and she didn’t get the “NXT reaction” she was used to, that was her wake up call that she wasn’t really a big star as she thought. Most guys let’s that “NXT brainwashing” continue, so it’s good that she broke out of it early.
King Remo Yeah I remember reading that about Bayley. She's at least adjusted to the realities of the main roster. She's in a comfortable position because she's still getting paid to work in the only national wrestling company left in the US, gets to meet fans and travel the world. Basically do a job which she probably enjoys. I feel a bit sorry for some the NXT wrestlers because they're duped by Triple H. The PC should be developing characters first and foremost. Promos and acting. Trips uses Twitter to announce the high profile indie singings, takes pics with them and puts them in Takeover audiences. Egotistical or what lol? But rarely does he prep them for going onto national TV. If Vince McMahon is to blame for anything, it's giving his idiot son in law control over developmental.
Imagine if Vince had gone back in 2002. I think things would have been alot better. They wouldn't have lost the casual fans either. Triple H and Stephanie have run that company into the ground. Yes WWE has fans. But not on the level they did during the Attitude era. Wrestling is a joke now and has been for 20 years. Russo and Shane should have started their own company. Could have given Hunter and Steph a run for their money guarnteed.
