This game is so unfriendly with new players
Real, whenever i join espacially if choose countries like tunisia or algeria i get invaded straight i couldnt even get the chance to defend

ngl old rise of nations is better than right now it to complicated like you cant focus on what your doing your gonna balance everything out unlike in the old ron you can just focus on conquering and all you gonna do is balance the trade like when your having a corruption back then you can just click anti corruption in policies but now its hard to balance everything you cant even make ship without spending tons of money in shipyard

Private server, costs 50 robux a month, but it's really worth it if you love the game, cos you have alot of control over the server and you can easily test and play

Also what is the purpose of scorching a city?
if enemy troops are entering a city of yours, you can scorch it to deal damage over time but if the city has buildings in it, the buildings will be disabled

how do we create resources? im stuck on that
You can't "create" new resources so if South Africa doesn't generate oil, there is no way to get a native South African city to generate oil. To get resources, you either buy them or conquer other countries for them.
If you mean increasing output of an existing resource (eg. UK produces 1 tungsten and you want 2 tungsten for a motor factory) then you can either do so by hiring a leader with the Chief Geologist trait, using the tech tree, building mines (they double every resource that a city produces but require .2 diamonds each to operate) or by using the new infrastructure, which if a city is maxed out on infrastructure, produces double the resources too, like a mine that doesn't need diamonds

extra tip, defend the coast so naval nor land troops (if your holding a line) dont sneak around and beat your troops
Yeah, or if you can't afford it, stay on the lookout and make a few subs around the coast
If you do the stuff in the tutorial and build infastructure on multiple cities it'll make your resource output more high

as a really new player, this helped me understand how to play much better in terms of my economy and preparedness for invasions and battles. I normally select Burma, Maldives, or Turkmenistan, and this really helps! Thanks!

Hi. Can you make a video of how u can defend yourself from a country that is lightly morr powerful than you? Like defense strategies, etc.
Use the same tactic in the video. It's really overpowered lol, forts + entrenchment + training + artillery support makes them overpowered.
I can tell you one time when I destroyed a USSR as Slovakia using this. I took Czechia and formed Czech Republic. Then I took Carpathian Rus, a city in Ukraine that Czechoslovakia owned in world war 2. Russia obviously wanted it for USSR, and he declared war and started spamming destroying me. Czechia quickly fell, but Slovakia was a fortress and he couldn't pass. My army of 50k held off waves of thousands of tanks.
If you want more tactics, you can try using a navy, using leaders which is easy, just recruit one and put it in charge of the army, or use strategic scorching.
For example, once I was Algeria and took most of west Africa and Brazil took Senegal. Instead of invading other AI countries in West Africa, they went to war with me. I used my navy to stop troops from getting to Senegal, and the troops that were already there had to pass through sparsely populated desert. I immediately scorched it and his troops were dying without combat. In the end he rage quit. The losses were 50k to 1 mil.
Be careful if you scorch though, make sure you're not scorching important cities. In my case the cities had no resources and little population

Hello if your on mobile and your wondering how to do the thing where you split all your troops click shift click it’s right next to deselect ( above the date ) then just like tap in places and then press form line

You have to wait for the unrest to go down so it counts as a city

Now there's infrastructure, you build it like Ur building a factory or fort etc. They increase factory and resource output of that city so it's quite useful
Troops move depending on the average infrastructure level of a tile

I was inavded by two other countries for the first time and actually managed to defend my country for a while. I lost in the end though because I was losing so much money and also kept getting nuked.
Oof, happened to me too, it was early game tho, I was Iraq and put my troops at Kuwait and Iran and Saudi both teamed up against me. I killed 700k people but eventually I couldn't keep defending, they rushed Baghdad because my troops were in Kuwait and my stability was low

Nice video, I haven’t played for a long time now but didn’t electronics get debuffed? So civilian factories was the best way for money. I might be stupid because electronics might have been buffed again idk.
They are but this is a guide for noobs lol, civilians are a tad bit more advanced

I remember that when i was Indonesia and the US add me to the war againest India, and i sacrafice myself to distract India, meanwhile the US, Sweden, Algeria, Egypt, East African Fedoration took India's capital and he surrendered (India is a player btw)

You can only sell 1 to 5 depending on how strong the countries economy is. If someone is already selling electronics to them, they won't accept

but, how do you develop a city? also how do you make a fort? There a times in the tutorial where you tell someone to do something, but don't show how to do it.
Same tab as building a factory. Forts now need 15 steel after a recent update

No they nerfed it but it's still possible to get a decent economy off of electronics. AI Countries will only buy up to 5 electronics depending on how strong their economy is. Selling 10 will give you 800k which is quite good for starting out

did you send them to capture the enemy's cities or press "autocapture" and select the enemy country? Also you must justify a war goal to declare a war to someone. Then you should declare war on the enemy's country, then you will see the autocapture button. Sorry for being unclear

Just recruit a few troops in the region, like 20k-50k infantery and then they'll calm down and can't reach the golden bar, aka revolt

How do i sell
Click the big flag in the bottom left and go to the economy tab if Ur not already in it. In the bottom left or right of the menu ( I forgot exactly where) there's a button called Resources/trade. Click it and you will find a list of resources. Find the resource you want to sell and press Trade. Then choose a country you want to sell to, enter the number of units you want to sell every 5 days in the text box, then click sell. Sell bulk is a one time purchase. There's also another text box, that's how expensive you want to sell it. AI (their name in the trade menu is white) will only accept 1-5 if nobody is already selling to them depending on their economy strength, and a price multiplier of 1

how to declare war???
To make this easier, imagine you are Germany and want to invade Poland. Click on a polish city like Krakow or Warsaw. Then, in the bottom left, a city menu pops up, on top of the bug Germany flag. In that menu there's the city name, some info and the country owner's flag. Click on their flag to open the diplomacy menu. Here you can justify a war goal against Poland. 99% of the time you want the conquer justification. Click conquer and justify. After it's finished, which usually takes 75 days, go to the diplomacy menu again, and click declare war, it's a red button at the top. Then click conquer, and declare war. If you're allied with Poland, you can't declare war.

How to I deal with ranged units?
if it’s artillery, use infantry or tanks to destroy it, if it’s navy, use submarines but if it’s a destroyer boat, use any other form of navy

basically, put in every of the city close to the enemy artilerry as well as troops. this way, if eme´my will try to counter you, not only he will have to deal with entrenched troops but also with artilerry taht can deal laot of demage, hope this helps :)
What the other guy said lol. Entrenched and trained troops on fortified cities with artillery behind them. Do this across the entire border with your enemy and they will not pass

All of them, if Ur running short of cash and need to develop + don't have enough money, then develop the bigger cities if you afford it
