Disintegrate does much quite a lot of damage. The DoT is great for over world farming. You can just DoT mobs for a sec and move on and they all die behind you. It's also great for war because you can DoT the immortal, and it has no way to get away from you. DoTs don't miss once you apply them. I'm always one of the top dmg contributors at war using disintegrate. I was no where close to top dmg when I was using a bit similar to yours. I'm also not the highest resos in the clan around 4.2k resos. I do have quite a bit of potency ~3.3k. IMO the best thing about disintegrate is you can control when you do your dmg and its ability to re-aim if you miss. Yes everything else together might do more dmg if it's just a stationary target, but if you keep missing (either from miss aim or target moving away from your dmg), or waiting for your CD (because your drop meteor on one pack and now you have to wait for it to come back online), then you are actually doing less effective dmg. Most targets are moving and not dummies. Even if you miss with disintegrate, you can easily reaim and reconnect. So you actually end up doing more effective dmg.
I have a similar build on wizard but I will definitely swap out magma ball for teleport with the dmg buff and probably use 2 gloom to boost that buff more
This is the kind of information I had been seeking, however I could not replicate your damage results. Using the same build, 24k cr, 5.6k resonance, but with different set pieces and probably very different reforge results, I couldn't come close to 1m damage, continuously. So, I'm wondering how crucial set gear and reforging are in the formula. What do you think?
Hi, I am using Ice Crystal (with essence that buffs it) and Disintegrate with the flame, beam that slits off to three targets and damage increase essence as well as Scorch (Magma Essense) and Lightening Nova. I'm only Para 110 so don't have all the essences for your build. Any recommendations to improve at this time?
@@ApollyonGaming bro i just hit over 1.7 million dps on my BK in 1 min with 101 million dmg, no family bonus, no ultimate, no curse or ancestral property, reforged for summon necro. 2.1k res.

I experimented with the over mentioned set up but I swapped out shoulders for the disintegrate that a illusion channels, so no meteor. My dmg went up

Does Ol Rustic essence stack with vithus 4pce? Based on what i see, they do not stack :(
Ice armor is waaaay better than meteor if you use the orange off hand essence that attacks 4 enemies.

That was true somewhat few months back, Now single target dmg has taken over and wizard, isn't all that good at it.
Stop making these mistakes wizards… The number one mistake was picking a wizard for damage 😂
