No 60fps in 1080p is a bummer, they could definitely have done that over USB3 as well. It seems like the best option for a GoPro route for streaming or content creation from a studio is probs an older gopro and a capture card.
Yeah, it is kind of a bummer. I suspect it may be a limitation with compression and internal processing (heat generation) to be able to send only a 1080p30 signal over usb. 1080p60 or 4K signal over HDMI is the raw signal without any processing is probably a lot easier on the internals of the gopro.

Thank you, this is a useful feature I did not know the GoPro had, on your main camera the color of your shirt looks gray, but when you switch to the GoPro it turns to navy blue, is there a reason for that? Would you please list the brands of the equipment in your set up, your mic is of a high quality, I think the sound is excellent.
My main camera is a Canon C200 so it's in a whole different league compared to the GoPro. My shirt is blue gray but the GoPro oversaturates it and makes it look a little more blue that it is. Just a different color profile, not that it looks all that bad IMO. For the mic, I'm usually using a Rhode Wireless Go and a Senheiser ME2-II lavalier mic. For gaming, I use the Blue Yeti X you see mounted to the table.
After installing the program and restart the computer, nothing happened, even after i manually click gopro webcam... reinstall it and get the same, nothing happened... :(
My Gopro only shows as a white screen with the gopro logo in the place where the video should be, is there a way to fix this? It only started about a week ago and now It won't work at all.
Is there a way to reduce the lag? I've got a similar set up and latency is around .3-.4 seconds, which seems like not much. But I'm trying to use it on musicians in a livestream where the audio is coming in separately (with 0 lag), so I need to reduce it as much as humanly possible...
@@andrii2717 I’m not 100% sure but if you go to advanced audio properties you can set it to have a certain amount of delay change the delay until they match

I am hearing about lags which is not so cool in a conference.. Also, view should be narrower, I don't want to show my entire rooms mess in work conference.. And it's interesting that you mentioned the quality is just at par with standalone cams..
Hey stan, My gopro hero 8 black gives the USB mode but my webcam mode stays with a grey screen that has gopro webcam written on it and 2 pictures of a go pro. It doesnt show live feed, I'm connected by usb C would you have an idea why it doesnt work?
Yeah still no fix, seems like there is none problems with the software, but it just doesn't work. I was able to install it, but the application wont open.
Hi, I am a bit late to the party, but when I go to the download, it sends me to a community website, where the downlad link looks really shady and not official at all. It also asked me to restart the PC so the app can make changes to my Computer and thats where I stopped and uninstalled. Anyone else got the same issues? The link is a salesforce download

Gopro webcam for PC doesn't work, possibly due to the new GoPro update, until GoPro updates tge webcam software, find alternate means.
