I don’t think she ever really like Pope she just felt bad bc he was hurt and kinda a jerk when she said she didn’t like him so she thought if she kissed him and tried to reciprocate those feelings he wouldn’t be mad at her and at the same time she just lost Sarah and John B she was grieving and he was there that’s why I think she went to pope but with JJ it’s different like she genuinely loves him and realized that in season 2 episode 10
I mean he ain’t wrong. She was a kook up until she got kicked out. If she really wanted to she could convince her parents to take her back. She has a place to go.

I knew from the start that’s JJ’s real name is John bc why else would they say John B. JJ’s name is John Jaye which explains why they call him Jaye
