I think it would be awesome for Rafe to do some growing up, healing, and then develop a friendship with Kie. I feel like she’s one of the only people whose not afraid of him and will actively call him out.
Yeah. I think she definitely sees that he does have good in him, and she's generally very forgiving but she wouldn't hesitate to put him in his place if needed. I would love to see them be friends

I'm glad you showed what Rafe did to her, in your edit. Drew and Madison had some chemistry together, but not the kind of enemies to lovers. I imagine that Rafe becomes obsessed with her and she is his toxic trigger point. Now that Ward is gone, he needs a new one. A relationship with him would not work. It's out of character for both if them.

I like your idea, but for that to work they really have to sell that there is a previous connection there or it gets a bit far fetched based on one moment at Singh's. People have theorized ever since s1 that they have a 'kook past' - I think that's due to how their interactions were written and how Drew and Madison played it. It's not like it's out of thin air, especially since she's Sarah's bff and he's her brother. A lot to play with there in my opinion.

their relationship is so interesting and intense it is so hard not to get swept up in it and want them to be together because they have insane chemistry but then you remember everything Rafe did and Kie did to and that's why their dynamic kind of works. Ward was one of the few people that called him out when he did something wrong and that's why Rafe felt the need for his approval. He became obsessed with making his dad proud. That's why he became obsessed with Kie. She was the person in his life that called him about when he messed up. That's why they are so interesting and not necessarily in a romantic way

I think that rafe has a crush on kie, maybe.. maybe like in s3 especially but I always found it "weird" that he called her kie when only her close friends call her that and even jj who shes "dating" I don't think it's ever going to happen, kie and rafe but I can see, and damn would I love to see, them having a good friendship. I mean, he's really gental with her, he opens up to her, which he doesn't do to other people and he respects her. I would really really love to see them grow a stronger bond and maybe rafe getting better cuz the main reason they hate him is cuz of his mental disorders, and what they make him do i mean he definitely struggles with that, and if he got help for that he could be better and maybe work with the pouges and have somewhat of a trust between them, that's what I'm hoping and rooting for in season 4

Screaming crying and throwing up. First off I absolutely love these two sm!! They’re already endgame / canon in my mind. Like the potential is there and even though a lot of ppl may disagree they just cannot deny the chemistry and tension. Like yes, Rafe is a psychotic murderer but I think Kie is the type of person who chooses to see the best in other people and tries to help them even when they seem shitty (like in S3 ep 1 when she saved the pilot, Jimmy from drowning) I think Kie can FIX him (if she won’t fix him I know I def can LMAO 🤭😉) and I will continue thinking that with my delusional ass 😭
With that being said I’m looking forward to a Rafe redemption arc in future seasons and Kie helping him along the way (maybe?) or him wanting to be a better person because of Kie / teaming up with the pogues to prove himself etc. He has a lot of baggage and trauma to deal with because of his father and I hope he finds someone he can actually talk to and trust because him going at everything alone and thinking that everyone is out to get him and that he is a victim (even tho with his dad he sorta was?) isn’t healthy AT ALL.
Idk I just would love to see some growth in his character and for the writers to show how multidimensional he can actually be. The enemies to lovers / forced proximity / forbidden love / ex best friend’s brother / I hate everyone in the world but you tropes they’d serve!!! I absolutely cannot. The possibilities are endless at this point and it would be a waste to not at least make them have a nice, passionate slow burn enemies to lovers. Like even if it doesn’t end well or they end up being friends / allies that would be so much better than nothing 🥹❤️❤️

I have always been a jj and kiara lover because I really liked their storyline and what not but once I got to season three I feel like I didn't appreciate them getting together because I was low key rooting for rafe and kiara just as friends!
Putting her and jj together for fan service was wrong because now everyone sees how her and rafe could have something and they want her with rafe now and quite frankly I want her with rafe too. You can just see how he's different around her and he can and will change for her but he's also toxic and her and jj are good together but it felt rushed. I wouldn't mind later down the seasons her and rafe chemistry grows and they end up together or she's conflicted between rafe and jj but I also don't want jj to get hurt cause my boy been through it, but I wouldn't like for kie to become a Caroline 2.0 from vampire diaries and be with every male character in the show

Personally i think this was a result of fans thinking with their hormones and seeing jj as some grease lightening type of guy rather than what he actually is. The goofy f*ck up of the group. I’m glad the writers added depth to his character and kinda explain why he is how he is and his struggles, but essentially that’s who he is
Edit: What theyve done to Kiara’s character is utterly disgusting to me. Forget the fact that men and women cant truly be just friends. But they made her out to be the exact kind of person they accused her of being in the 1st season. Some rebel girl who just wants to get “down and dirty”. Also doesnt help that she gives a significant amount of attention/care to which ever pogue she shows romantic interest in that season (season 2 was only a little different bcus the fans shifted the direction toward jj) Kinda bimbo-ish
omg thank you. it's like these tweens are completely cancelling out everyone else's opinions with their jiara obsession. and the writers catered mainly to them, which is just so weak. to me there is smth undeniably misogynistic with how the show writes women compared to the men that bothered me esp this season. i.e. kie's arc each season being about a new boy and not standing by her values, not being allowed to have guy friends... sarah has more of a self reflection i guess but it's still mostly just her being abused by the men in her life (rafe, ward, topper etc). no wonder my favourite character ends up being someone like rafe or pope, they put much more effort into these characters and their own journeys!
at least if they were going to make kie be with / have a past w someone it should be rafe bc it would be the most challenging for her character and the relationship she has with everyone else, but at the same time seeing how these writers did smth as milk toast and dry as jiara i think they'd fuck up the rafe thing anyway.

I will never understand how some people can ship them/ romanticize their relationship! He tried to kill her, TWICE! Not even counting the other times her boys were on that boat too, with her😭 Even Madison and Drew said it in a recent interview that they don't make any sense as "a couple", & it was never intentional for them to be anything more. Also Kiara would never betray her boys by turning to him! He put them all in hell, & still keeps going - It would be so out of character for Kiara to get involved romantically with Rafe. Nothing would make any sense. Rafe needs help, Sofia may can help him hopefully. Romanticing a toxic character just because he's hot, it's not it babes. His persistent staring screams trauma and psychopath vibes, while Kiara's eyes when he's on her field of view scream HELP! That was the whole point of this "relationship". He needs therapy, healing. Imagine passing this part, as it's something normal for him to be the way he is. Future only knows how his character will develop after his father's death! He needs people by his side to help him. Then if he's healed, he can have a love interest, besides Kie. They could be good friends in the future maybe, not that this is gonna erase his actions, but he could be a better person. Humble and honest opinion! 🫶🏻❤

they have chemistry but not in the way you think 😂 like i truly just think madison and drew were trying to look at each other with hatred/challenge in their scenes together, but because they’re both attractive and there is unrelenting eye contact (plus they’re friends irl) that people are misconstruing that for romantic/sexual chemistry. They’re also comfortable being physically close to each other. We already know that madison tends to have a lot of chemistry with people when she’s not trying at all (she had chem with JJ, John B, and even Sarah) but not with pope, who she was actually supposed to be romantic with. In reality, Kiara would never date rafe, nor would she want to. The closest thing I can see is Kiara having a crush on her best friend’s brother back during the Kook year, but given the amount of disdain she looked at him with in s1, i doubt it. And Rafe, I could see him also thinking Kiara’s hot and him liking her simply because she’s half Kook and fiery, but that care ended with the end of season 1 when he tried to choke and then kill her. I think Rafe maybe has a soft side but only when it comes to certain women in his life (Sarah, Kiara, Wheezie) but i think that’s only to show that he’s multi-faceted, not necessarily because he has a crush on Kiara or anything.
Idk I say , get them close like this again for a longer period of time , maybe one good kissing scene & then have him obsessed w her , but her like not wanting to take it any further like a one time thing. I think that would be goooood! But I love jj too tho and he won’t forgive her for that.

Before i start my comment i'm just analyzing Rafe character not tryna justify his actions ,Rafe has some serious mental issues since a young age but noone cared enough to help ,everyone in his fam knew but they could not bother to help ,Ward mental abuse made it worse n it led to his cocaine addiction....thats the difference between him n JJ ,they had almost same struggle with their dads but Rafe was already unstable so it led to him going psycho ,his family failed him big time ,they could have easily shipped him to a rehab lol ,so how do you expect someone with all these issues to act normal ? in season 2 he had a meltdown after shooting Sarah .. He asked his father for help n hisfather simply told him to man up ignored everything again , He always has these kind of meltdowns questionning his sanity n what he has done ,Its like he is also tryna convince himself , I personally see a room for character developpement /redemption with him ,I can see everyone forgiving him but he got a lot of work to do for that to happen, He needs to help them or sacrifice himself ,Anyway if you ask me sure he is horrible but deep down he is not that evil ,he just needs someone to love him n care for him ,He never had that ! Kiara is the only person to give him a reality check everytime without being afraid , i can see her be the person to help him change him in a way ,Before you come at me its not women job to fix men ,Am a woman myself but we as humans are made to interact with each other emotionally physically its in our nature so why not tbh if she can help him n then for both to be happy its a win !
