He was literally willing to save kie and give her a ride over his own sister like lol??? I think she could be his weak spot I just hope the writers can explore these two, I swear there was more electricity in these few scenes with them than kie and jj had. I think there's the possibility rafe is gonna try and be better next season cause how he saved his dad at the end of this season, so maybe it could work

@@sa-maganz5526 the thing is in the show he didn't hear her specifically, he heard pope and jj yelling and said it was the pogues. He didn't hear or see kiara. And then in this season when she stole his boat, in the ep with jj going to get his old job back the owner of the boat place tells him rafe said that "he"(jj) stole the boat and not to let him near here. Like these little things in the show and the script can't be a coincidence. lol why would rafe specifically blame jj for the boat when it was actually kiara that stole it.
@@nina533 I think Kie is the key to his path towards redemption (this sounds all spiritual) but I’m being fr. He was so soft with her and genuinely wanted to protect her and ensure they got out together. I understand Kie had to save her friends and that’s why she pushed Rafe off the boat (typical enemies to lovers - it’s worse before it gets better) I’m actually crazy but I see the potential between these two and I hope the writers do too. It’s way better than a friends to lovers miscommunication trope with zero chemistry imo. And that’s not to say I don’t want JJ to be happy but I do not think Kie is his person. I hope he finds someone he’s compatible with

Rafe and Kiara scenes are addicting. They didn't have a lot of time but I fell in love with them.
the looks he gave her were so soft and sweet, but I reiterate. The reason they "work" so well together is because of his need for validation and approval from the ones that don't really fear him. Ward was always putting him down which is why he felt the need to do everything in his power to make him proud and gain his approval. Which is why he is obsessed with Kie. He needs her approval because she calls him out on everything.

I genuinely believe the writers saw a little bit of potential between them which is why they kinda tried to give us a little taste by making Rafe and Kiara get stuck together. Instead of ppl being all about Jiara all the time they wanted to give us a “what if” moment

Need Rafe and Kiara in season 4. With his father dead I can see him becoming more unhinged and maybe Kie decides to help him when no one else has tried.
I want Rafe to get killed. He deserves to die. Wonder if that cop he killed have a son. Imagine if she had a son that was even more crazy than Rafe, kidnapped him and injected estrogen. Afterwards he treats Rafe like a girl and froce him to speak in a high voice. Would be such a good punishment for this character.

I don't like Jiara and I love these two and their chemistry... but there is no way I want them to be together after all he's done lol that's just ridiculous. However I hope the OBX writers see the good reception and maybe give us some flashbacks to Kiara's kook life (possibly Rafe being involved...?) or she plays a part in his "redemption" somehow in the later seasons. He's only really opened up to Kie, Sarah and his dad so....
The writers did say they wanted to keep Rafe and Kiara in scenes longer than they did.
Directors already confirmed that Rafe will be more evil in the next season, kiara is dating jj so she will never help rafe, and kiara was scared and uncomfortable with rafe I don't know where you see chemistry in this situation

The actors have natural chemistry that is much more interesting to watch than the obvious fanservice of Jiara where they even seemed uncomfortable acting together. Something weird in the directing if people have seen a "vibe" like a past btw Kiara and Rafe since s1. As for just evil Rafe, that's boring, we saw that in s2. I'm not saying he should become a good guy but it would be fascinating if he could bury the hatchet with Sarah maybe Kie help this happen, or her convincing him to take responsibility for his actions. We need to mix up the cast dynamics instead of introducing unnecessary new characters all the time. As for the couples, that's probably what I care about the least on this show and it's become way too much of a focus.

Shipping them is probably not the best idea but all the things he has done is because of his mental unstableness...due to his father. He said several times that he didn't feel alright and everyone brushes it off like it's nothing until they see the consequences and he's called out as the bad guy. Don't get me wrong, everything he did is bad, but I feel it could have been avoided had everyone around him actually listened to his pleas for help. (PS: Rose was prob the only one who actually came close to helping him out because she was ready to face the fact that there was something wrong with him and he needed help...except instead of getting him that help, she wanted to turn him in and take everything...lmao the people in this series)

I think these 2 had some chemistry because in season 1 it says that Sarah ( rafe’s sister ) used to be best friends with Kiara so I bet that kiara and rafe saw each other quite a lot because Sarah and kiara were best friends

that's a good edit. and i have to admit they look hot. But no Rafe and KIe for me. I don't want them to happen! Redemption is a big word for someone like Rafe. He's done some bad things. And Kie is the one yelling murderer around OBX, why would she, of all people, get involved with him?
I think a Rafe redemption is entirely possible. All the things he has done has been a direct result of his father's neglect, mental, emotional and physical abuse to him. He has said several times to multiple people especially his dad that he doesn't feel alright and has never been listened by anyone. He does know that everything he has done is wrong, he says that he feels all his decisions are bad and that he knows everything he has done is bad but he gets lost when he does it. He actually is very easily influenced (by Barry, by Sofia, by his Dad) and if he had the right person talking with him probably at this point professionally, he would be able to turn things around. He's just been lost alone for too long in his own head and everyone brushes it off like it's nothing until they see the consequences and it's too late.
