Thanks for the tips. Where did you buy the oil/fluid? The manual mentioned a specific weight, just wondering what brand, etc. And where did you get that cool flexible screwdriver?
You're welcome El Jefe Slash! I bought the fluid at a local auto parts store. It's standard jack oil. I have a link for the oil in the video description. Here is the link: Hydraulic Jack Oil: amzn.to/3jg0xwX
@@GarageDynamics don’t use any detergent based hydraulic oils, manual states to use non-detergent based hydraulic oil. Harbor Freight has Sta-Lube in stock and that is the correct oil to use.
Does the oil really go bad? What are the change intervals they recommend? I just added some oil to mine. I feel like mine wasn't lifting until after i pulled the handle pretty far. Didnt think the oil could be bad.
It's just like any other fluid, oil is oil and needs to be changed. It all depends on how often you use the jack. If you use it everyday I would suggest maybe once a year. I am about to do mine as it's been 3 years and it never really hit me that it needed to be done.
Thank you for providing clear instructions through this process. Great video! Keep it up!
Thanks Pablo Coppola! I appreciate the encouraging words!
The video was on time very helpful thank you very much
dang, this is gold. I was always wondering how the heck I'm gonna flip over a 100lb jack to get the oil out without making a mess.

As I do each step, do I have to "go ahead" first, or can I skip over that part and just get to it?
Looks like yours has zerks on the wheels? Mine doesn’t did you drill those in?
Hello Bethany Mancini, I believe the jack comes preinstalled with them.
What about the grease fitting on top? Are we supposed to greased it?
Hello Pagan TV, Yes please grease the jack using the grease fitting.
