I love how Tina includes Layla but only as long as she's interested in joining in. I love hearing her chatting in the background doing her own kid thing too.
I really enjoy these cooking videos. You guys are so truthful on what you like and what could be better. I also like that you bring in Alfred as well so you give us three opinions, sometimes four with adorable little Lyla. Also Tina and Zen look so pretty, you guys always look pretty by the way!
Tinaaaa i feel like you should make a video about tiffy cooks' products : chili oil, hoisin sauce, scallion oil. And try her simple recipes that include those sauces
hearing that you've never eaten dumplings with rice is so interesting to me! as a filipino, we eat dumplings with rice like 90% of the time. one of our most well-loved street foods is siomai rice (pork and shrimp siu mai on top of rice, with soy sauce, calamansi, and chili oil)
I love how you involved Lyla in the cooking process, my mum had me do the same and I have the best memories from it and taught me so much ❤❤❤❤ Great video xx
I know from experience that you can make Mexican beans in a rice cooker. There is a tip to this. Anything that needs to be pre cooked should be done a day before and the beans soaked 24 hours in advance. Everything goes in the cooker cold for it to work.
Am i the only one who thought Zenn was Alfred's sister? Just recently I saw online in some comments that they are not related. I was shocked. I am SHOCKED
I once saw a video where a mum and daughter do stuff and they both look similar.. months later when I first came across Tina and Zen I thought they were the mum and daughter but was confused because Tina was so young 😭😭😭😭
I just can not with Lila!! She’s more adorable every time we see her!! She’s the perfect little chef in training!! We could never hate on Zen lol. Great video as always ❤
Looks scrumptious! You should do a cooking challenge, where your mom gives you a traditional Vietnamese dish and you have to make it... Without her help!
The rice and dumplings one is a good idea for me, I'm chronically ill and fatigued and also vegan so with a few tweaks for flavour I think I can get there! I usually love rice and dumplings anyway lol. Must be an Australian thing 😂
Hi Tina! I've been watching your videos lately😊 I just want to share that it's common in the Philippines to eat dumplings or siomai with rice. Most people dip it in chili/chili garlic oil, soy sauce + calamansi and add extra fried garlic. A popular food stall here even pairs the dumplings with Hainanese or Lemak rice and it can be steamed or fried. We like dumpling + rice combo😁😅
just ordered a rice cooker and I can’t wait to try these! one question: when you pour in two cups dashi stock, are you using regular cups or the small rice-cooker cup?
Great video! Have you tried cooking these in the early morning (say, before going out to work) then it still tastes just as good in the evening for dinner? Not sure if it might end up mushy if kept warm for half a day.
Hi, I'm from the Philippines and yes we do eat our dumplings with rice. I think the last tiktok was really for the technique (not the taste) to cook it with rice altogether rather than separately then serve it as rice toppings. and the sauce is a requirement.. cannot eat dumplings with the soy sauce + chilli flakes + calamansi (for the Filipinos)
My mum has forever done a variation of the first dish with soy, honey, butter, lemon juice and herbs in the Tupperware stack cooker! Definitely reminds me of that. 😂
I can’t believe I’ve been watching your videos since you lived in Sydney, and now your little girl is asking your audience to thumb the video! Too cute!
Just wanted to let you know I love your food trying videos they're so fun to watch also you let us know whether to try them or not it's nice to get some words on stuff before actually trying them so it doesn't go to waste thank you❤ you look so pretty today beautiful as always.
I just stumbled on your channel and binge watching .. loving your recipes, also that you guys are in Australia and ingredients are easy to get Awesome 😊 I have subscribed ❤ from Melbourne Australia ❤️
I would love to see you do the chicken and rice recipe with fresh flounder or cod fish! Also, we would love to know the size of your rice cooker! And do you add the exact amount of water as the rice? Because if that were true, you would not have to worry about the math!
I love your videos and seeing Lyla Oh My God, i just love it. She's so cuteeeee and the way she helps you is the cutest, most prettiest thing EVER! Please give her my love and God bless all of you. 😊✨❤️👌🏻💐💖
About that oyster sauce. Yes the fishing boy IS the one to get as it actually has a high oyster content as opposed to the panda one which has stuff all oysters. It is more expensive but well worth it. I have fisher boy in my cupboard for the first recipe plate up - needed some slices of red chili for colour haha
I just made oyakudon in my rice cooker. Does it well but man, feeds a family haha recipe below ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2 cups of rice (washed) 2.5 cups of water 1/2 cup soy 1/4 cup mirin 1/4 cup brown sugar Mix until all sugar is dissolved 1 and a half cups sliced onions 750 grams chicken thigh fillets drizzle 2 teaspoons sesame oil press lever on rice cooker when almost done. POUR 2 beaten eggs + 1 tsp soy sauce over top and cook when finished garnish with white and black sesame seeds plus chopped spring onion.
Nice!!. Thanks for the recipes. Tried variations on the ones you showed and chicken thighs (cutlet bone in - cheapest option take bone out is simple) are so juicy and flavorful. Btw that brand oyster sauce is apparently the most flavorful (and natural) . Thanks again for the video!! :D. PS Lyla so cute!!!
Those all looked pretty good! I think for the dumplings and rice, maybe adding some veggies and that sauce would make it more appealing, although I would definitely eat it!
"Give a thumbs up, Lyla." Lyla sings: "Mommy finger Mommy finger where are you? Daddy finger, daddy finger, where are you?" Too cute and so sharp too!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’ve made the chicken and rice recipe in my rice cooker 2 or 3 times. Tastes great overall but the chicken by itself was a little bland to me and the rice was a tiny bit burnt on the bottom. Other than that it was great. Loved the rice
OMG Lyla has grown so much....Lots of love for our baby girl 💗💗💗💗
she's a mini chef now

The rice cooker video was my favourite, so glad we now have a part two, that too with such successful recipes!!

In case you missed out on part 1, you can watch it here ruclips.net/video/EoOt32fjyDg/видео.html
10:49 little dance break so cute❤
rightttt it made me giggle ^^
I love cooking frozen dumplings with my rice. The dumplings get cooked and the rice gets infused with extra flavor from the dumpling.
Definitely eat rice with dumplings when I’m feeling lazy. But regular white rice with gyoza style steamed dumplings with the crispy bottom 😋
You know it’s going to be a good day when Tina posts!!
❤Lyla has gotten so much grown up now, she going to be a beautiful girl when she’s older ❤❤
Can I add that Zen's glowing skin made her look like a real angel.... 😍😍
I hope you will do more of these. I will be trying in my instant pot since I do not have a rice cooker. Hopefully it will be just as good.
Pleaseeee try indian snacks, will be waiting for itttttttttt. For eg: Pani puri, masalapuri, smaosas, kachori etc...
Already wanting another video on rice cooker recipes. I'm definitely trying all these recipes

Lyla's so big now! It's crazy how time goes so fast.
I wonder if that first dish would work with salmon or another kind of fish...must try
Love this! ❤
The chicken and rice thing, I maybe would blow torch the skin until it browns for added presentation points 😅
I’ve made the chicken and rice recipe in my rice cooker 2 or 3 times. Tastes great overall but the chicken by itself was a little bland to me and the rice was a tiny bit burnt on the bottom. Other than that it was great. Loved the rice
