About Project Fame: Project Fame West Africa is a regional music talent reality TV Show produced in Lagos Nigeria and aired across West Africa. The show features contestants from Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Nigeria. Auditions are conducted in these four West African countries to select a total of 24 contestants who then advance to the next stage and converge in Lagos, where the judges will weed off 6 contestants, leaving 18 to advance to the semi finals. From these 18, only 15 will advance to the Academy where they will be drilled and trained in the art of music for weeks.
The show runs for a total of 10 weeks, during which one contestant will be evicted every week for the duration of the show. One winner will emerge and win the star prize, while first and second runners up go home with consolation prizes.

How does Okiemute do this? She is total package. Her stage creativity is epic, prolly Beyonce is her role model. When Okiemute holds her show, I am so going! I know my money won't go wasted. I love this girl. Hopefully, she continues like this, find her niche in the music industry, grow beyond her brand like Wizkid and be different in the game like Funke Akindele did in the movie industry. #GirlPowerToTheResuce

My review on the performances:
Eli - His voice texture is just so amazing and it came through for the song. But he could have done more with it. He was too concentrated on carrying the performance to the letter and forgot about self expression. It was a good one.
Elizabeth! I had my doubts when she was given the song because in the earlier weeks I have commented about her voice texture sounding same despite change in genres. Last week, she broke away from that and repeated it again. Her voice texture was resonating the reggae as if she was born in Kingston town, Jamaica. Her stage art was so on point. She's evolving into a brand.
Pere - This guy can sing! First, his emoting was so on point that throughout his performance I was transported from the PF stage to an event specially made for OJB. It was so soulful, goose-bumping and unforgettable. Kudos.
Winner - Men! Winner must have been South African in her past life lol. Those leg moves had me wowed. She may not be the usual sensual female singer that people expect, but she's an exemplary vocal package. The way she handles both her low and high registers is so amazing. Even with all those movements, her breath control was still on point. Amazing.
Dapo - I don't know why he was given the song because his range is nowhere close to MJ's. Sadly, he went back to what I noticed about him before. He was trying to mimic the original and not surprising that his vocals couldn't take him through. He started to struggle and strain. It began to look as if he was lip syncing and the back up seemed a tad too loud at a point. HIs lyrics also got unclear at some point. Fair performance.
Mirabel! She surprised me! I thought the song was going to whip her because Whitney Houston was one unique singer but she handled it so well and I had to wonder where she has been keeping the strength all this while. Her few flaws didn't matter in this performance at all. Good one.
Kitay! Wow. He's just so versatile. It was a spellbound performance. His diction is one wonder to me. He can barely speak flawlessly but when he sings all those his Waffi accents disappears. The emoting was so much on point. He was in character from start to end. I love.
Okiemute - She has been super consistent and can sing anything. She breezed through it all. However, I would have loved a faster beat for the instrumentals as I have seen other performances of the song and it was better that way.
My top five: Kitay, Okiemute, Winner, Pere and Lizzy. What's with Bolanle's dress, Halloween came early? lol.
Okiemute song's tempo was fine and more in line with the original. If you are comparing with joe blue I would say that both are good performances but the difference is that okiemute had more time to allow the song evolve. To know how great this girl is, when i listen to every singer tonight (except Pere), i close my eyes i hear Nigerians trying to sing western music with varying levels of success. When I listened to mute, I heard a world class performance worth of any global stage. In my opinion, she has had the too challenging songs all season: Beyonce-hold up, Rihanna- disturbia, Phyno-fada, Anguilera- ain;t no other man, and Winehouse-rehab. These songs could have undone any other contestant this season. Kitay is good, but doesnt represent anything new from Georrey and Jeff. I kept wondering if he did the songs as well as they would have. With both previous winners yet to make their mark, it is worrisome to see another similar singer win. Okiemute is mtns PF best shot at a success story since chidinma.
Nnamdi Ezeanochie I just have a preference for the faster beat and it wasn't a question of her handling it badly. If you have read my previous reviews, I expressed a similar thought that she has been given mostly difficult material and she has handled all excellently. It isn't really about the singer's type that determines success in the Nigerian music industry. We've seen so many with zero vocals nor talents making the hits. Even Chidinma is lagging behind now due to the 'dulling label' she's signed to.

Nnamdi Ezeanochie Okiemute has been a wowzer from day 1 and my lack of more superlatives is not a discredit. The girl is good. Period. 😊

d contestants definitely gave in their best especially okiemute but there is gonna be just one winner. one thing particularly struck my mind was the young lady on black dress that solicited for writers, she was so eloquent and bold, I think project fame should do something about her, she must be a great writer for coming up to solicit for them, I strongly recommend her

As much as Kitay is excellent and he is my fav guy there, i really want Okiemute to win. That girl is fire!!! She encompases what it means to be a singer and a performer. Plus it's time for a girl to win again. Kitay, Okiemute and Winner did it for me tonight!! Kitay again delivered his song flawlessly, i mean he always makes a song his. Winner did brilliantly, the singing and dancing were on point. Elizabeth and Pere did very good also, but there was just something missing, i could not really place my hands on it. Eli was not really believable today but i must say his vocals were very good. Dapo and Mirabel did good, but i think they both had technical issues (perhaps because they got the King of Pop and Queen of Pop songs). IMO i want either Okiemute, Kitay, Winner or Elizabeth to win this whole thing. Anyway one of them winning would be splendid. I do however, want a girl to win.

Ever heard the proverb "when elephants fight, the grass suffers"? Praiz couldn't openly blame the faculty for giving him a lower range so he threw it at Dapo. Besides, remember what Uncle Ben told Pere about contestants arranging their songs in the way that suits them unless the coaches tell them otherwise? If Dapo had settled on a range he was comfortable with, the coaches wouldn't have to pick a range for him.
I still think that bringing Praiz in as a judge is the best investment MTN made this season. He helps these contestants actually.

I know I've said this before, but Okiemute is one helluva performer. She brought the nonchalant attitude needed for this song. The acting and emoting was superb. They all did well tonight, but Winner shouldn't have been given that third spot based on the fact that there were better performances tonight tbh. Elizabeth or Pere would've been better picks in my opinion. The judges are biased towards Winner because they chose to bring her back so early in the competition. Either way, Okiemute or Kitay will still end up winning the competition at the end of the day.

+Chic Chi Amy Winehouse is my favorite singer and that rehab song is about how everyone even Amy wanted her to go to rehab for alcoholism she hadn't started drugs yet but her dad kept saying she was OK so she could keep touring and making money yet this man was never in Amy's life till she became famous .
