Looking forward to seeing how this turns out. for those that do not make vids, they will truly not know how awesome this will be.
Brilliant. Very creative idea. Looking forward to the rest of the series! Keep up the good work!
Thanks! Coming together on my end!
Nice build
Thanks! I'm glad you like it
if you're looking for a little more overhead room in the middle of the garage, a quieter opener, and probably a faster one than those old genie units, you should check out the 8500W from LiftMaster (or the RJO70 from chamberlain, it's the same unit). It's called a residential jackshaft opener, and it attaches in the corner of the garage to the wall (not the ceiling!) and couples directly to the shaft that has the garage spring on it. there's no need for the rail connecting the opener overhead in the center of the garage, and you get lots more room!
I’m definitely in the market for a new opener and 100% going to look into this option - thanks for the tip!
@@workshop_edits not that I'm extremely familiar or with it or anything...... But if that's an attached garage with a living space/bedroom above it, you'll go from mild earthquake in the room while it's running to not even knowing the door is moving
Ameazing sir wonderful 😘😘👍
