When he is aggressive and he attacks... Wang can get advantage of any player due to his speed and elasticity. Even for Asian players he's fast. It's been a long a hard season (or maybe more than one to be number 1), it's very difficult to keep that level. Many people (special commentators) who claim Lin Shidong is the best of the best practically. He's played very well last months, but let's see 2025 or 2026. Harimoto is coming strong too. He's been there all the time, all the time. Tomokazu is always a problem to any table tennis player...hard rival. 🤯 Good players both of them. I liked them in the final match from the beginning because many comments claimed "certain names" as champions...in elite level anyone can beat a rival. We can't say something we'll happen 100% for sure.

Wang's backgand quick slap/jab shot is so dangerous. If you pull a little slower and higher top spin, he immediately pushish you with a super fast quick slap.
I've mentioned before when WCQ wins the first game, it's over. In the future both LSD and Sun Yang will be worthy opponents of WCQ. I predict Sun Yang will be second best by 2028.
He's very capable and fun to watch. Hope he'll be another XuXin in time. China will keep an eye on him just like LSD a few years back. If Sun keeps his cool, they'll recruit him into the CNT. BTW, since LSD beat FZD a few years back, I knew he'd make the team.

Nothing against Darko, he's a great player, but somehow I can't believe he actually won a game/set against Wang with that performance 😅 You can clearly see how superior Chuqin is against him, he almost didn't win any “rally” against him and the points he had were mostly due to mistakes by his opponent 😬
Darkos Game is based on Heavy spin and placment Not like wang chuqin who is incredible in rallys. So this is based on their playingstyles, a very good performance from both
Darko is a very consistent player, all around skills except speed that's overwhelmed by WCQ but what can possibly be done against the in-form #1? Let's see the immense fireworks if Screamoto gets in the final.

Not so sure. Tomo has a better block against loop than Darko. And his forehand is better. He will play wide out to WCQ forehand and then punish the backhand. We shall see.

It was the mentality keeping him back all along.

He said in one of the interviews after this match that he is not at his best yet, still struggling to keep his mind clear during the game.
And he is not as good yet, he has room to recover

Impossible to judge from this camera angle. If he just throws the ball vertically up, it'll look like it's over the line from that camera position.
