@@phamster18 True, they ended the clip before the hand shake could be shown, yet, I think, the edit is quite good compared to works from months ago. They are getting better at catching the spirit of table tennis. I am just wishing for an angle like the one in the Russian league; like the ball kid perspective, but a little elevated. I would love to see table tennis on this level like that. INSANE MATCH, by the way!!

Harri is so much fun to watch his energy and personality he brings excitement to table tennis
Harimoto is a nice guy. He smiles even when he's defeated or lost a point. At 22:55, Lin played a very strong backhand and won the point, Harimoto still smiled.
Yes many people misinterpret Harimoto's intensity and passion for bad sportsmanship but that's incorrect. He is very gracious both in victory and in defeat.
I think he's smiling because Lin is mad.😄

The speed of rallies was just insane, both backhand and forehand. Both players playing at such a high level. Harimoto really elevated his game after losing the first two games. It’s crazy how often he’s in the middle of some of the closest and most amazing matches (vs FZD in Paris), good to see him end up on the winning side this time after some bad heartbreaks.
say what u want about harimoto, he screams alot yes, but the guy has incredible manners and is a very good sport. such a great guy and an incredible fighting spirit

Hate him or love him... harimoto thrives on his confidence and once he gets going, he's pretty much unstoppable.. all of us saw it 2 or years ago but now he has more skill and power.

While we may question his serves, Lin Shidong was definitely a good sport there at 3-3 8-8... and he pulled off a Ma Long backhand fake push pancake flip down the line shortly after... and Harimoto still manages to win... Unbelievable match!
It's a extremely tight match lol, both of them played exceptionally well but Harimoto's consistency and mentality was on another level, he managed to win even though his opponent reached the match point first

I love to see the different expressions from japanese players. I think they have like some strategy to smile in stressful situations. You can clearly see that with Hina Hayata too. Some fresh air in this competetive environment to see, that players are able to smile off the stress.

After watching Harimoto 2nd set, I was wondering how this match is going to last 47:58 minutes
It is setbacks and losses like this that will help LSD grow and build up winning experience as well as mental toughness. What a valuable lesson for this brilliant 19-year-old.

Crazy energy from Harimoto! Lin Shidong honestly needs a rest, does the Chinese team want to burn him out? He played like a genius but was missing the last bit of energy, freshness and ability to get to the ball when Harimoto attacked hard. Harimoto could also take inspiration from having beaten Lin earlier this year. Lin really should go back to Hainan and lie on a beach for week.

You mean Fan Zhendong the Olympic Gold medalist and World Champion? What would he care about some random WTT event?
Guess the Chinese authority is playing younger generations (LSD, XP etc) to gain experience on this level to take over from FZD, ML and XX. Sad to see those legends go. They ARE immortal G.O.A.Ts. WTT is commercialized and staging too many comp's, not letting players to rest. After many years, now I can see the strategies behind them besides top skills. Just have to study and play it to get it. Newbies and nobodies will find it hard to understand.
If tomorrow result is no good, FSD will be invited to attend coming game

I like it as long as it's not Frazier. He is definitely a bit annoying

Are you crazy? Watch the highlight reels or mute it if you don't want to hear him. Borrow is at least better than Frazier, he has some tactical knowledge to add while being entertaining and fun. How can you dislike his commentary?
Agree, gets annoying after a while. Lot of superfluous remarks.
Some day you will be able to replace the commentary with an AI with user selectable options. E.g. neutral commentary, or biased one side; verbose or terse, technical or beginner friendly, etc.
