The reason that this music video came as late as it did is because a link to it was hidden through a puzzle contained in the digital remains limited (digital) edition of the album, but fans only discovered it a few days ago. It was expected to come in "early june". You said that you were sad that this will be the last time you see this band for a while. Paladin strait is the last song off of the album, but there have been many hints at there potentially being a hidden track(s) to come out later. Nothing confirmed yet, but there's enough scattered evidence for the most popular theory to be that there will be one more song. I'll list a few facts that support this idea - in the livestream for the release of the album, Tyler said: "After you hear the end of paladin, you tell me. You tell me, does this sound like the end?". In the chat for the premiere of the paladin strait music video, the band's account posted "|-", a part of their logo (|-/) which has been used to signify that something's coming in the past. The solution to a puzzle at a fan exhibit was "clancy ultimus capitulus 25" which means clancy last chapter 25. There is obviously a lot going on with the lore but I thought I'd put a few dot points to help you understand the gist of what was going on: - Tyler (the guy wearing red tape) is Clancy - The people with yellow tape on are banditos - The fictional continent they're walking through is called trench (this is also the name of an album) - The city they arrive at is called Dema. Dema is the place where Tyler and others in this world go when they are struggling with mental health - The people in red capes with face paint on are the bishops. The bishops keep people in dema and represent different aspects of mental sturggles - The bishops preach a religion called vialism. The zombies who are pulled out of their graves are the people have fully committed to this religion, by committing suicide in a glorified way (using their suicide as a weapon, or to make people feel bad for them, etc) - These people are called the Glorious Gone. They fight with the Neon Gravestones that were placed on their graves - The Banditos help people to escape from Dema - The bishop at the end who grabs Clancy is called Nico, he is also known by the name Blurryface, (which is the name of another album). So the banditos were getting ready to battle Nico. Clancy is climbing the tower while 7 bishops are controlling people who were buried in neon gravestones these people sadly took their lives. And the girl on the left and the boy in the middle were from previous music videos (the outside and Nico and the niners) but they sadly took their own lives after living in Dema. Tyler defeats 7 bishops and then Nico comes, he tries to control him but Clancy managed to open his eyes (and break the cycle) without the help of the color yellow (jumpsuit MV). And he looks Blurryface or Nico straight in the eyes. So I assume the final battle will take place at the live shows because Tyler tweeted see you at the live show.
You’ve got to get on stubhub and get a ticket for their show! You won’t regret it. Best show you’ll see. It’s hard to pick my favorite track from Clancy. I find myself going back to Routines in the Night and Vignette the most right now. 🎉🎉🎉

Many don't believe this is the end. This song is the supposed last song on Clancy that ties up 10 years worth of lore. I personally don't think this is it, to leave us on a cliffhanger like that right when he's going to fight Nico aka Blurryface. If you haven't watched their previous mv's from Trench and Scaled & Icy you will definitely be a little lost here. I'd recommend watching those and also watching the video they released called "I AM CLANCY" which helps to explain the lore in a nice simple video.

i would love if you reacted to more twenty one pilots albums, specifically all the lore albums, blurryface, trench, scaled and icy etc and even older albums like vessel or self titled! but if you want a little break from twenty one pilots and want something really fun and different then i recommend "The Normal Album" By Will Wood idk if you'll like it cuz it seems you're more into rock styles but Will Wood has a really fun vibe and blends a couple different genre's (including a bit of rock/alt) in a very theatrical way with some really great lyricism about the experience of being mentally ill/neurodivergent on that album and i personally find it brilliant and fun as well as relatable!

There was a puzzle in a special edition of the the album that came out at the end of May, and as soon as it was solved, the video would be released. It actually took weeks and weeks for people to solve it. And the next day the video was released. Pretty cool concept.
