@Kebooooo umm... I did play D1 2-3 times but I never got all quests... I usually had 3 out of 4 quests, randoming... once the poison well and the butcher...another time the butcher and leoric...and then leoric and the poison well...etc. I'm a bit confused ^^
what about imperius' valor because he is archangel angel and aspect of valor member of the angiris council leader of the heavenly host and greatest warrior in all of creation who see humans nephalem and sanctuary as abominations and he wants them to be eradicated because of their angel and blood heritage parentage ancestry bloodline and lineage.
@SolarVampire Actually, if I remember correctly Arkaine's Valour was medium armor (chainmail to be correct), not heavy armor ;) Still, it was indeed pretty good
@Yahoodude830 I've completed the game, with all classes, and three times with the warrior. :D Plate armor indeed looks badass, but it sure takes a long while to find a plate to match Valor.

the valour armour was pretty good. @ringrostig diablo has 2-3 quests per level, but you get only 1 or 2 because of the randomization of the game, so if you can't find this, you got another quest
SERIOUSLY, what happened to the Diablo franchise? It's supposed to be built with the same tone as the first, which in my opinion was the darkest and scariest! But it just got worse and worse with each sequel. Well, Diablo 2 was reasonably ok, but Diablo 3 just seems very cartoonish.
Diablo 3 is basically World of Warcraft. They went in an entirely different direction because it wasn't the original team, including art. Blizzard South is also known for trying to make their game more inclusive to as many players as possible (see World of Warcraft system requirements), but that's not the nature of Diablo, so they ruined the IP that they essentially stole from Blizzard North.

@renekenshin6573 nahh not really. The ones that ARE are those stupid gargoyle-type thingys. the Tier 2 or 3 gargoyles are hecka annoying in the HELL levels. Only three of them took about 4 of my full hp potions.
Arkaine's Valor.. I used that armor for SO LONG. It's freaking overkill compared to the stage of the game you get it in. Hmm.. I feel like playing this game once again. Maybe I should. And oh, those Horned Demons.. When I was little, I almost shat my pants every time I heard that roar from off-screen without any precaution.
Gog.com they have it there for 10 bucks heck they even have warcraft 2 if your into that it's another classic great wish they had myth 1 and 2 tho but oh well they have all the Carmeggedans 2 so you might wanna check them out go for blizzard.com if you want diablo 2 and starcraft I beleive there downloads should work
It was the butcher number one that made me jump in this game. Hell my brother was older than me at the time and to this day he remembers it. But these charger things...holy smokes...that long hallway with like 4 of them their just waiting for you to walk forward. For me it was like knowing that any moment a bull would crash into your bedroom and run you over. But you dont know its going be from the window, the door, the closet or underneath the bed you're laying on
@kansaikanadian never said D1 was better ;P just sketchier as far as the gothic detail goes... i still play D2 from time to time, fuckin great game, it does have a gothic feel to it, but D1's atmosphere takes the cake.. like i was scared to go into the next room as a kid.. never really felt that in D2 :( but D2's gamepace, gameplay, and general game mechanics are way better
Very old comment but still, I felt the same kinda, the only fear I felt in D2 was when I was reaching the final boss of each zone, and it wasn't really for a sense organic dread but rather because I knew it was gonna be hard and I was about to find out if had prepared myself good enough or I would have to keep grinding indefinitely for having screwed up.
if playing as a warrior, horned demons are a joke. When i first saw one roar, (first instinct was CLSOE THE DOOR) but then another one came. *bash with zee axe* WTF?! its dead ALREADY?
It wasn't THAT bad, it was early-game armor and had to be treated that way. I remember alll the time walking into the mines with that armor and getting destroyed very fast. You just had to be careful and know when it became obsolete.

Even Diablo 2 is cartoonish as well. D1 is the most real and scary. The same problem happened to Starcraft 2.

@bloodwolfgurl Valor is good for low-strength mages & rogues, but not for the warrior who should wear heavier, better armor.
