CLIP DESCRIPTION:
The morning after the party, Chet (Bill Paxton) confronts Lisa (Kelly LeBrock) and the boys about their behavior.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
John Hughes's third directorial effort, Weird Science, follows in the tradition of his previous teen-centered films, Sixteen Candles and The Breakfast Club. Anthony Michael Hall and Ilan Mitchell-Smith play the wannabe hipster Gary and his nebbish weak-willed best friend, Wyatt, a pair of high-school geeks who are hapless with members of the opposite sex. Using Wyatt's computer, they create what they believe is the ideal woman. A lightning storm brings that woman to life, and she takes the form of Kelly Le Brock. Lisa sets about building their self-confidence, but trouble begins brewing when Wyatt's cruel, military-minded older brother, Chet (Bill Paxton), begins to realize that something is not as it should be. Hughes would finish his cycle of high-school themed films with his next movie, Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

Bill was a legend. I love how the other actors were breaking character and laughing but they left it in.

Bill Paxton once told a story when he come down to Houston to film Apollo 13 he spent time at Johnson Space Center. He said when he made public appearances throughout Houston he always had someone scream out CHET in the crowd. He laughed when he told the story and said he never realized how big Weird Science had become. He was an awesome Texan!
RIP Bill Paxton! This is my favorite scene from him, but he was brilliant in everything he did!

Unfiltered Lens Actually Unfiltered Lens, according to Wikipedia, Bill Paxton died of a stroke on February 25, 2017, eleven days after undergoing surgery to repair an aneurysm in his aorta. Sad, he wasn't that old (he was 61). ;-(

Actually saw this awesome movie back in the mid 80's, the settings couldn't have been more perfect. In my cousin super cool and comfortable furnished living room in the basement, on a snowy Saturday afternoon, good memories indeed. We are almost in 2016, and it's still my favorite movie ever!

Bill Paxton certainly earned a reputation for portraying douche bags in the eighties! Not only was he one in this film but I can recall three other films… Terminator, Aliens, and Near Dark.
He also played a loudmouth in Predator 2 (1990), although he was more likeable in that movie.
