I have this (GLO149) with an Ivory dial and tan strap. I fell in love with it. The other watches are going to have to wait to be worn for quite a while. I'm on Pacific time and if you set the bezel on nine over the top, you have Hawaii time (they don't do daylight time) set the six o'clock clock ahead 3 hours and you have east coast time plus Hong kong time (east coast time + 12 hours). All my favorite time zones! AND it's accurate and ready to wear without fussing. Re. the large date at the 12 o'clock - just wait til you get older! it's a pleasure to be able to see the date at a glance.
Great review! What makes the Quartz version special is that while it is a GMT, it uses REGULAR time (a 12 hour dial ) to distinguish the multiple time zones, rather than 24 hour military time. As a former U.S. Marine, I can tell military time from standard in an instant of course, but when looking at 3 separate time zones, it gets bothersome for me. I’ve been on the lookout for a regular time GMT from the right watch maker, with the right mix of style, color palate, and band for a long time. And while I travel a lot for work and pleasure (I’ve been to 39 countries!) I’m no pilot, and need the watch to also be clean and not too busy, and because of the multiple time zones, I need to set it and forget it! And it’s a GLYCINE AIRMAN! Connected to the LEGEND!
I have one, and unfortunately it only hits precisely about half the time... But I still love it very much!!! I had seen these, in different colors, from an EBay seller for $200.
Hello friend, hey, I have a question about this watch. Its characteristics indicate that the width of the strap is 22mm. I would like to know if this is the same from start to finish. I want to buy this watch and at the same time a butterfly clasp but I must choose the correct size of the clasp.
I actually ended up trading this watch to another local collector for a Hamilton Pilot Automatic watch. If I'm being honest though, I do regret parting with the Airman. I will probably re-purchase this watch again, but get the automatic version. I know others who have had their Airman for many years and they keep up well!
Thank you. You can actually buy this watch with a heavy discount right now, from Glycine-direct (eBay.ca store). I purchased this watch from the Glycine-direct webstore.
@@EverydayWatchGuy And as I do understand it is 100% authentic watch? It is not a good quality replica? Because some price of this particular watch exceeds reaches 1000$ while on ebay it is easily to find in a range of 500-600$

Thank you for the review. Looks like that second hand is ticking right on the indices, too.

I've been looking at this for some time now. Great video!
Thanks 👍

It's been a while since I owned this watch, but I believe the strap tapers down to a 20mm buckle. Kind regards
I love Glycine and on the edge to pull the trigger on this one. How does the watch perform at the moment?
Great watch for the money. Sadly I sold mine last year
It irritates me, that the quartz Version is thicker than the mechanical one.
Just curious if you still have this watch. Is it a daily for you and is it holding up well? Thanks for the review!

Yes, its authentic. That site is an authorized dealer of Glycine.
EverydayWatchGuy I AM NOT SURE THIS IS REAL
@@andyclark6649 Are you saying this is not a real Glycine?
Lume shot?
Sorry I didn't include the lume shot. The lume is not particularly strong, sadly.
Year of manufacture or range of production years?
These Glycine Airmen 42mm quartz watches were recently manufactured in 2018. Models include the GL0149, GL0150, or GL0151
Thanks..
Mistake = Invicta purchased in 2016.
