  • In this week’s AbsoluteDogs TV Episode, we discuss:
Have you ever wanted to know how an Agility Champion and Crufts winner would teach their dog the awesome skill of taking tunnels in the fast-paced sport of Agility?
Well, today is your lucky day because this super cool lesson is brought to you by not just one, but TWO Agility Champions, as our very own Lauren Langman is joined by Ag Ch Samsir Blinkin Brilliant - AKA the one and only superstar herself, BLINK! - and they are super excited to walk you through how they would start out playing with tunnels!
Did you know that agility tunnels aren’t just a skill for sports dogs to use on an agility course - the foundation games we play and even the finished product of racing through a tunnel on cue are all games of confidence, optimism, independence and most of all, engagement with YOU!
These skills are invaluable for ANY dog, no matter their age, breed or history so even if you aren’t planning on putting your dog’s name down for a career in Agility, playing a game like this at home, or when out and about, is a massive confidence booster and a great way to keep your dog optimistic and focused on you because YOU are the bringer of FUN!
The super cool thing about this game is that you can change it up for your dog and the stage where they are at. You can start out simply by getting your dog jumping in and out of their crate, a suitcase or even some open-ended boxes - maybe even a few chairs with a sheet draped over them! It really is that flexible and adaptable to your dog’s current level of training and what you have to hand at home!
In this super absoluteDOGS TV episode, Lauren and Blink have all their TOP getting started tips and super secrets for YOU! So whether you are interested in getting started in the amazing sport of Agility, or you just want to bring an extra level of joy and fun to your dog’s daily training or fitness plans, these tunnel games have got everything you need to get started!

My 22 month old collie does agility. Very good with everything but lights on poles have been installed and he’s reacting to them (barking and lunging) he even pulls out the course to react to one and then comes back in. How can I help him? Thanks
